Hip-Hop’s Bible Is Back From Hell…

Combat Jack got me a placement in the latest The Source magazine. Forget all those articles I wrote for that Next Level magazine, this right here is what I am considering to be my first official piece.

It’s about the history of the Super Soaker which turned 20 this year. Did you know a Black dude had invented these joints? Here’s to hoping that Combat Jack can get me some more placements before its all said and done.

Pick up a copy of The Source and help support my sneaker acquisitions. Thank you.

For real? Congrats, and kudos to CJ for bring you in the fold. I do have a beef with super soakers as employed by lame graffiti (non-) writers (really faux-hipster jerks) but that’s not the invention’s fault.

DP– I’d love to see you or others there do book reviews on the regular, not just those of ‘hip-hop’ interest but of all human/historical interest. I understand why mags like this cover what they do but I also think it’s possible to ‘sneak’ in weird, challenging pieces too.

Langston Hughes 101, say, by Uncle Dallas.*

    * I didn’t know this myself until recently but ‘Uncle Tom’ of ‘Uncle Tom’s Cabin’ is at AT ALL what we think of by the insult ‘Uncle Tom.’ Just another perversion of history to put down strong black men.

    1) I respected the XXL work.
    2) niggas made the super soaker? win!

I put a button on the side of my page for niggas to put a quarter in and niggas complain that they are afraid to use PayPal

I write for websites that no one leaves comments at so I get summarily dumped because my virtual audience doesn’t show and prove

I get a placement in a magazine and niggas complain because a chi-chi mon is on the cover so they can’t support the kid

I’m not talking about YOU niggas, just all them other niggas who say the same shit

Been picking up the Source again (all the way from Zurich) since Combat has been involved – it’s getting better and better. Adding DP to the mix can only improve it further. Oh and as for Chris Brown – this cannot be denied: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=miNyA1pG04c

  10. P-Matik says:

Good job fam. Why is Chris Brown on the cover of Source though? Did I miss something?

You of all people should know that we negro’s only support FREE shit.

Good look my dude, I told myself that I would never touch the source again. Mays and Benzino made that shit litter box liner. Didn’t even know that CJ was working with them, in what capacity?

Sorry my G, but I just don’t fuck with that streaming shit, can’t get it at work and I pretty much shun the PC once I get home. and since Jack refuses to update the daily math site. EHEM, cough cough, …. AND SINCE JACK REFUSES TO UPDATE THE DAILY MATH SITE!!! I never got the memo….

but to make up for lost time, I will cop three one for me, one for you and them nigglets across the way…..
