I need the subways to move me around NYC late at night.
The SEPTA subway system in Philadelphia shuts down before 1am so if you haven’t made your move by that time you are assed the fuck out.
The SEPTA subway system is distinctly less subterranean than NYC’s joint.
Natural light gets to filter into the stations more than in New York so you don’t feel so buried and claustraphobic.

The Reading Terminal Market is every foodlovers wet dream, and even some bears.

After a couple of days in Philly I have found that the sights are fantastic and the food is even better.
I can’t wait to get back to Philly.
You in the definition of Grilchy…but….Reading Terminal is one of the reasons I’m a Food Snob, used to roll there wit ma dukes and lose her in one of the comic book spots……….get out and try some fresh exotic(for the hood) foods…..Dallas holla at my dude if you still out there, he’ll hold you down and steer you in the right direction!
I love my city!!! One of the most slept on things is actually the byob restaurant trend. When you bring your own booze the meal is so cheap its hard to miss. Any restaurant in the Italian Market area will have super fresh, bangin ingredients (thats around 9th and Washington and rivals the Reading Terminal). Try Pagano’s on Ogontz Ave in Mt Airy / West Oak Lane, those steaks are the fucking best in the city. Yea, I said it.
