Golden Boys And White Knights…

white knights

Brett Favre vs. Peyton Manning would make Roger Goodell cream himself [ll].

Most people think this matchup saves the league’s entire season?

It’s the entire reason I’m rooting for Saints vs. Jets. Team that’s never been (featuring a cast off QB who turned up elite) vs. a team that plays defense and runs the ball.

im predicting jets/saints sb. brett favre isnt someone i really want to see play, peyton would be tho.

    Jets/Saints
Amazing Jets Defense Vs Amazing Saints Offense

The battle gets won when those units get off the field and Shon Green becomes the Rookie Superbowl MVP with 140 yds

    Vikings/Colts
Boring back-and-forth QB duel. Farve messes up. Manning doesnt
Tight game until the end. Vikings come out strong. Colt comeback in the early 4th q and win by 7

That said…I would like to see how A.D. does against the Colts D.

Saints/Colts. I don’t want NY (actually Jersey) sniffing this Super Bowl.

I’m interested in the QB battle and Sanchez does not figure in that equation.

    Jets.
    Jets.
    Jets.

Vikings/Jets would be a great matchup. Just adds to the narrative of Favre looking for redemption playing against one of his former teams. (He did play for the Jets, right?)

On the real, the Jets need to be in this superbowl. A classic offense vs. defense matchup would make for a thrilling matchup.

the 2 qbs who have won superbowls have a leg up on brees and sanchez.

  9. BIGNAT says:

i think sanchez/farve are going and the old man going get his ring. then he will do the pants to the feet dance off into the football hall of fame. the iron defense versus the ol gunslinger

Wasn’t I saying this last week?

I thought everyone wanted to see Cinderella at the ball…(II)…defense wins championships…but I am taking the Colts minus the points, Peyton can throw just as many INTs as Farve, and Drew is suspect in that department too…Sanchez reminds me of Hostetler…

    $yk,

people say that defense wins championships but outside of the Baltimore Ravens….I can’t remember the last time a defense dominated the SB or that a defensive player got MVP

the bears defense was GREAT that one year….but at some point, your QB has to score points and move the ball…

Tampa Bay and honestly…Brady ain’t that much with out a good D to hold the other team down. Peyton can get it done without one.

true about tampa..but that’s 2 teams out of the last maybe 15…

you need a decent defense….the year the Colts won..the defense got hot in the playoffs..the same defense that was maligned the entire reg. season

See? Tampa, Colts, NE, Ravens, GIANTS.

Shut down status…offense gets the accolades…

I roll wit the Giants all day, but I would love to see the Jets take the whole thing. They went from being trash to being one game from the SB. I’m tired of hearing about Brett Favre, he is a great player and has alot of heart; but he ain’t the greatest to ever play the game or QB postion. I wish espn would get of his jock.

  16. RTHSTN says:

Favre vs Manning 2 future hall of famers in the biggest game…. How could you not want that?! Enjoy it while you can these are 2 of the best QBs to ever play. Manning will prob go down as the best, because he is still has a lot of years left to shatter records. I agree that ESPN needs to get off of Favres nuts, and add Tim Tebow to that “ESPN get of the sack” list.
