Death Of A Dynasty…

duncan

The San Antonio Spurs have one of the best records in the Association over the last twenty years. Dating back to the Admiral David Robinson alongside the little general Avery Johnson and the goose-necked Sean Elliot. But just like the Patriots under Belichek or the Braves under Cox[ll] the time has come to rebuild this franchise. Duncan is the only part that should remain. Maybe Tony Parker to keep him company [ll].

KEVIN DURANT for M.V.P.? Who has a better FG% than the kid? Free Throw %? 3pt %? And he is a top tier scorer. Watch and see Durant get a ring before LeBron James if the Cavs don’t break through this year.

    What about Manu?

  2. nerditry says:

Bron for MVP. He plays with bums and has them at first in the East. Kobe wouldn’t have that team any better than 3rd.

Bron on the Lakers, 75-7 record.

  3. getthesenets says:

gotta see what Durant does in the playoffs before he gets the knod over Bron.

never seen Durant play much..outside of highlights….

    ===================

I think the Spurs can squeeze one more chip out of the Duncan-Parker-Ginobili combo

  4. VEe! says:

I also think Duncan-Parker-Ginobili has some legs left.

  5. Mark Dub says:

Duncan-Parker-Ginobli are still major players, but I don’t think they can tough it out with the Lake Show. Kobe’s shooting the ball with 3 fingers and a thumb, and is still kicking so much ass that his shoes are shit-encrusted. I cringe when my Hornets play them.

  6. DURANTULA is a beast on the court! (II?)

“Durant’s better than Oden” © Rose Garden fans last night

The Spurs are done. Rich Jeff ain’t working out, the Blair kid from Pitt has NO ACLs!

  7. Children of Sanchez says:

Eh, I think they are done and I’m fine with that. Without Horry and Bowen they don’t have anyone I wanna watch anyways

  8. Tony Grands says:

The Spurs are still a very good team, but it’s obvious they need some grease on the cogs. I credit the management for staying with a complete roster of capable dudes, but the league is changing, around the likes of Kobe, Lebron, Durant, even down to the fast ass young guards. It’s just time for an overhaul.

  9. Dmitry aka brooklyn jew says:

Is dallas tryin to say Duran>Lebron.

    Yo Dallas r u buggin?

Da nba has never experienced a lebron james dude is 250, 6’8, wit crazy passing skills, can score in bunches, is built like a truck and don’t even try to put it up on him he’ll pin dat shit to da back board. Durant is nice and is having his break out year but Lebron is da second best player in da league. Before Lebron Cleveland wasnt doing shit in any sport. Now Lebron is der and not just Cleveland is expereincing his man power, we all r…… WITNESS!!!!!!!

  10. Durant>>>Lebron

    * straight face *

Is Bron really the 2nd best or the the 2nd best hyped?

Now that football season is over I can train my sports goggles on tha Association fulltime.

Showbee and the Lakeshow is the cream of the Association when the elimination tourney pops off. LeBron and the Cavs still don’t have a credible outside shooter to spell LeBron when his shot isn’t dropping. Cavs mays still win the Eastern conference but they won’t get the ‘chip this year. Mark my words.

Kevin Durant is milk chocolate. He is a PURE shooter and post player. While LeBron is a converted deep shooter I can’t deny him his ball-handling skills [ll] either. The thing I enjoy about Durant is when I watch him play he dominates a game with intangibles and overlooked stats. Durant is a smart player if he isn’t your matinee idol that LeBron is.

Not to mention he is an incredible swingman [ll].

Glad to see cats giving the reigning champs their respect.

Y’all heard about Kobe hosting a skripper show or some shit during all-star weekend? Vanessa going to be outside with that nigga on one of those electric anti-bark dog collars, zapping the shit out of that big ass Adam’s apple.

  14. OTS, me and the homies were smoking heavy watching the Boston/Orlando game on Sunday and counted 116 times the sports commentators should have (II)’d…

Sad but true re: the Spurs. What a tough franchise.

    Durant is amazing.

Mo Williams and Delonte West are useless.

  17. getthesenets says:

    Chris…

In the offseason, the Cavs front office told Delonte West to become a better shooter…..and he misunderstood.

    bang bang

  18. Jaislayer says:

The young upstart Durant is doing his thing. He got Oklahoma City playing some good basketball. I give the Thunder two seasons and they will be making much noise in the Association. They got some players in Green and Westbrook. Shit, they may even suprise some teams in the playoffs this year.

I know there is alot of hype around Lebron, but he lives up to the hype. Dude is the best player in the NBA right now. His squad is doo doo and that is being nice. Lebron will not get a ring until he gets some help, some decent help. Someone else who is considered a threat from the outside. Jordan did not get a ring until Pippen really started balling and Paxson/Hodges/Armstrong started burying those open three’s.

The Lake show will win the trophy again, only if they can keep Kobe healthy and Artest doesn’t self destruct. They have the best all around team in the league.

I wish the Knicks did something to get Steph Curry. that kid is going to be a star in the Association.

  19. Tony Grands says:

    @Jai

Did you-or any of yall-see last nights game vs Jazz? No mamba, no drew, against the #3 seed in the western division (on a 9(?) Game streak)?

That might’ve been the best they’ve looked since the beginning of the season. I repeat, no Kobe & them boys looked good. [ll].

  20. I LOVE FUPA says:

don’t give up on the spurs yet DP if you know anything about the spurs THEY TURN IT ON AFTER THE ALL STAR BREAK. and if they have to rebuild got to keep Parker not for company for Timmy D but to help keep shit on moving also they have to keep there young guns G Hill and Big Blair

  21. @ FUPA

D Blair has no ACL’s. How long will the rent-a-rebound last? Even Pop knows it’s a wrap, that’s why he leaves the ties @ home so he won’t strangle himself on TV…

    @ Grands

The Lake show looks like good $ right now, I ain’t gonna lie…you’ll be looking good when they raise the trophy…(II)…

  22. Tony Grands says:

    $yk-

Hell yeah. I’ll be fronting just like I’m one of them dudes. May shave my head, poke out my lips & try to get on the parade bus as one of Fish’s cousins. The one he never met. Until today.

  23. Rob says:

I’ll be @ the parade too slanging tall cans for 5$. Dudes made ends last year doin that. Shit, fuckers caught a dub off me

  24. LOL @ Grands & Rob

On the low they call the Rose Garden the “Grow Garden”…

  25. Rob says:

    $yk

I believe it. They sure were the Blazers back when Sheed, Stoudamire and Isaiah- Dont Call me J.R.-Rider were on the squad. One of them even got caught using a fuxin soda can to smoke. HA! I think it was Sheed but idk

  26. the_dallas says:
