BARACK OBAMA Doesn’t Care About Black People…

barack

I have been waiting over a year to use this headline and as soon as this new millenium mulatto jig statesman started talking that presidential shiite I got my wish.

Who is this dude, BARACK OBAAMA? Some people in alternate media (read:the bullshit blogosphere) say he’s the anti-Christ. I won’t go that far yet, but he is a curious specimen to me. OBAAMA’s national profile emerged when he was elected to the office of United States Senator from Illinois in 2004, and if he runs for the office of the president in 2008 he will not even have completed a full term within the U.S. Senate. In the two years he has been in office I have seen him only a scant number of times which should be difficult since he is the only jig in the Senate.

I saw him one time in New Orleans and I haven’t heard a peep from him on Iraq or even Darfur. The supreme question of course then becomes this… Who’s bankrolling this jive turkey? OBAAMA looks like he’s getting some of pharmaceutical giant paperwork. He seems like their type of guy. Being from the midwest he could be beholden to the beef lobby or even the corn husker lobby (just you look how many products contain high fructose corn syrup. There’s no way that this kaffir boy just comes on the scene and talks about considering a run for CEO of America Inc.

Real talk… What really turned me sour about OBAAMA is how OPRAH gushes over him like she’s cupping her hands to spoon his ballsachs. I am fairly certain that anything that OPRAH likes can’t be good for me as a Black man.

not a techie so i don’t know how to post up the links and such, but he did make some comments on darfur and the war in iraq on oprah…he explained what was going on in darfur and encouraged folks to contact their representatives and the info is on oprah.com also what he said about the war was on point not double talk, but not dissing bush a a president…i am not hating on darfur and i am grateful to the troops in iraq, but we need to get our mess cleaned up HERE, ‘fore we help others…how soon we forget the Katrina survivors/victims!

  3. Alex2.0 says:

whats wrong with oprah’s endorsement? certainly you dont think she’s secretly against “black men” considering she’s supporting barack.

  4. Amadeo says:

I gotta agree…dude just gave his speech at the Convention and “blew up” but I never hear about him on issues.

  5. Bumpy says:

What about the Jig who lives in a basement and sucks off of VH1’s teets and then “quits” his blog because more people wanted to watch Sambo’s “reality” show?

Run for office, write a book, just get out of the duke’s basement and make a difference in the world beyond blogging.

  6. beware the re-up. Harold Ford, Jr (please say the Harold). Mark my words, G-Money in ’08.

So would you not vote for him?

i am always unimpressed when people make statements like this. on the surface it ‘almost’ seems rational but it’s illogical. have you heard of geopolitics?

The Oprah observation is funny, but over the top.

Obama’s meteroic rise in the national political scene is definitely suspect. I don’t necessarily think he has any special interest backing him but you have to question why the media is so crazy about him. Yes, he can actually deliver a speech but what else is there? Why is Time* magazine subtlely endorsing him as a 2008 candidate?

For the record, he is a politician. You’re not going to pigeonhole him to any specific argument. In the political arena, sometimes it is in your interest to remain as vague as possible while you give the public a couple of universal aphorisms.

No one wins elections on the issues or debates. If that was the case, then the government would trust the American people to choose the presidential candidates. There would be no need for the Electoral College.

I say all that to say, why Barak Obama?

    * The Time article is interesting and the reporter did bring up some of your points. He hasn’t completed a full term and he’s not well-known for his position on any particular issue. Other than that, the article is an endorsement.

This ninja will unfortunately never win the election… For the following reasons:

    1. The product of a mixed race immigrant family. As American that maybe and as uniting it should it will backfire. You should try getting a table at a restaurant when you’re out with a leggy snowflake let alone the presidency. America’s deep seeded uncomfort with miscegnationbe not so deep seeded.

    2. His name. *cues “Hail To The Chief* PRESIDENT BARACK OBAMA! Sounds too much like the guy we’ve lost over 2500 American lives (word to Pat Tillman) and half a million Jawa’s trying to “find”. Also let this be a note to my friends of the African diaspora who enjoy giving their offspring jazzy names. Just imagine your child’s name on a resume, and don’t give the kid a strike against him/her just off of pure name recognition. America is hard enough for us…

    3. Other than being the chic minority offering to the Democratic gods what is this guy really bringing to the table? I mean if I’m voting for my race I might give J.C. Watts the nod in this. The brother is an ex-jock with 8 kids. I think he might be more on the pulse of your rank and file Negro. Just because he’s not rolling with the Dems don’t make him any more less Nigra – (Watch “A Soldiers Story”)…

Anyway. With all that said I’m all for seeing what he has to offer, however if the Dems are thinking about setting it off with a spade and a broad for the Presidential candidacy, you might wanna get used to these gas prices and watch that gap between us and them get bigger…

    I think Obama’s ok,

I think it’s to early to pass judgement on Obama. He approaches politics as a moderate, which is neccessary to win in 2008. Thats why Hillary is doing the Chicken noodle soup right now. America wants someone thats middle of the road.

In my opinion the Racist and sexist mindset in the U.S.A wouldn’t elect a Black dude, a Jew or a female for president. The Republicans know that
and that’s why they welcome Hillary & Obama. My guess is Mccain in ’08.

  14. tps12 says:

What the media love about him are the same things that make him kind of disappointing to people who want him to be more of a strong voice on some of the real problems in our world: his quiet moderation and odes to bipartisanship.

What people are saying about electing blacks is completely true. I was reading just the other day about how black politicians at pretty much every level of office consistently perform ~5% lower in elections than they do in polls, because of those people who feel pressure to voice support to a black candidate when talking to a pollster but reveal their true racist preferences behind the privacy of the voting booth curtain. We are a long way from the point where a black presidential candidate (or as Eloheem says, a Jewish or woman candidate) has any kind of chance.

I think Democrats are too pragmatic to nominate Hill. Kerry got the nod based primarily (ha!) on electability, and 2008 won’t be any different. Republicans don’t work like that. It’ll be between John Edwards and Tom Tancredo, is my call.

  15. Vee says:

    ^tps12 — I must cosign.

Bipartisanship and his moderation will work against him. I think he will need a strong message that big business, republicans and conservatives can really feel.

Fortunately, I think Barak is smart enough to not run. He’s still wet behind the ears in the political arena.

  16. Eloheem Star says:

    Great points on Obama.

Im not sure the american people on a whole are angry enough or aware of the strangle hold big business has on our lives. The steady shrinking middle class americans are more concerned with terroist , the war in Iraq, gay marriage & Stem cell research.

I personally want some one radical who will outline an exit plan in Iraq and battle big business head on.

  17. the_dallas says:

Dynamite points for all involved. The question still remains… I wan t to know who is behind BARACK’s ascendency. Oprah isn’t fawning over a Black man until the check is cleared. Believe that.

As for the reliability of Wikipedia… For how many years were you taught by Britannica that Columbus ‘discovered’ America? I will take Wikipedia’s relevance over any other established reference resources any day. Believe that.

More importantly than anything else we’ve said in this thread is that there will never be a president of the U.S. whose last name ends in a vowel sound. No Guiliani, no OBAAMA. Check the records. Plus OBAAMA might be devilspawn…

    BARACK + OBAAMA + JUNIOR = 6 + 6 + 6

As soon as someone tells me that BARACK is African for Beelzebub I am getting the fuck out of dodge.

I think the 700 Club will embrace Al Sharpton. They’ll back him ($$$) to run against Obama, making it a “black thing” in the eyes of dumb America (they’ll liken it to Jay-Z vs 50 Cent), the whole thing will fizzle and die, and the good ol’ boys will keep drinking whiskey and rye.

“Whoooo. That was a close one,” they’ll say.

  23. fantasia says:

you don’t clearly have the facts to back up this topic no do you? Barack is gonna be the winner and if i could vote a hundred times i would!!! he is making good plans for america and you guys need to think about this topic !! i know damn well that he doesn’t hate black people!! get your damn facts straight!!

  24. Henry CRANE says:

I am not a black man but yet am a AMERCIAN and even tho people may not like OBAMA THAT IS NO RESSON TO CALL HIM NAMES LIKE JIG or other uncalled for names if you don’t like him simply don’t vote for him . that is what is the matter now people always wants to run their mouths with words that only causes trouble for others if you are so brave pu;ll your mask off and say it face to face to him or others like him.and if OPERAH wants to hold his ball sach good foe him and that is none of my bussiness.
