The NFL should stand for ‘Not For Long’ because your reign as SuperBowl champs is now done by the beginning of preseason play. There are never going to be any more dynasties in the league with players changing homes faster than foster kids and a salary structure tighter than twelve year old twat (yes, bad analogy, but I was caught up in the alliteration). My point is that we don’t know what’s going to happen in the league from year to year and sometimes its even week to week.There were tons of upsets this weekend. Props to those of you that chose the Bengals to break the Panthers win streak. I can’t wait for Dukes to finally settle in the ATL because that’ll mean I get to see RON MEXICO and the Dirty Birds on the regulack. Pittsburgh at Atlanta was the game of the week, although Kansas City punching San Diego in the neck looks like it was equally entertaining. This was the kind of crazy week that I imagine we could have some movement in the top position in the DP dot com Football Pool. Let’s review the numbers…

Even when CANDICE has a slow week she still manages to lead the pack. This is saying something about the rest of us in this pool that we can’t somehow overtake her and we are rigtht up against the mid-season in another week or so. KAMOJI’s making a push for the lead, but dude is Canadian AND African so American football for him is like that cousin that he doesn’t get to hang with often and there was that time that your cousin passed you a joint that was laced with angel dust. Yeah, I remember that… but I digress.
