When I first previewed the Roc Marciano Reloaded album I was stuck off this track. The beat was heavenly and the rhymes were ice cold. I knew that if this was the indication of what Reloaded was going to sound like then the album would definitely meet the expectations I was placing on it.
I put this clip together as I try to mitigate the content contained on this song with the reality we live in where serial killings take place using the most accessible weapon of mass destruction: the gun.
(nitpick aside: No Tech 9 appeared in this video.) About the video; I don’t even know if you were aiming to send a message, but, very thought provoking, especially after the recent Newtown, CT school shooting. I think your video speaks to this country’s love affair with firearms, and highlights who is really holding down the larger calibre ordnance, despite some group’s protests that video games and music (read: rap=Black people) are causes of the violence. Well done.
