I appreciate that, D. I have a Reggie Lewis blog coming soon. Dude lived near me during his Northeastern days and we saw him all the time. Homie was a superhero to the kids of Boston. I used to try to shoot like him, leaned back with my arms up . Never went in, though.
Len Bias was the best player I’d ever seen dominate the ACC…ever. 6’9 with guard handles and passing ability, scary speed, he could rebound like a beast and he had range out to 25″. He used to bust ass at Maryland. With him there’s no doubt in my mind the C’s would’ve won in 1987 and who knows after that. Playing under the tutelage of the Big 3 and K.C. Jones? Sky was the limit. Damn you, White Girl (no Scarlett Johannson/Anne Hathaway).
