Not For Long: Respect These Patsies…

It is rare that a team will be as successful as the Patriots are when their star quarterback is lost for the season in only the second game of the season. It is even more improbable that the team will still miss making the playoffs after securing an impressive 11-5 record.

Believe it or not but the Patriots are the best team in the NFL. They have the best coach, and the best core group of players that can win during the post-season. Pittsburgh, Indianapolis and the NY Giants notwithstanding you don’t want to bet against this Patriots team in December or January.

I can’t wait for my Cowboys to shit on these bird ass Eagles. Hopefully this will end the ANDY REID era(error) and bring McNABB to Dallas where he and T.O. can kiss and make up and get that title together minus the tears and the vomit.

How you get beat down by a ref other than ED HOCKULI? I could see if ED HOCKULI two-pieced son since ED is brawlic, MARSHALL FAULK would never have been knocked out by a ref, neither would ERIC DICKERSON or JEROME BETTIS. These Rams is not only ass cheeks on the field but they are candy cotton soft. Somebody needs to put some shoulder pads on Nelly.

The NFL may not have to worry about the Patriots in January unless Brett Favre can get it together and the Jets defense can come up with a stop when it really matters. It would really suck for an 11-5 team to miss the playoffs.

Sorry about your Cowboys, D. They need to blow it all up.

Favre just turned it over down by 4 late in the 3rd. Dayum!

    One.

  2. It didn’t hurt that the Pats had cashmere schedule this year, despite going to the Super Bowl the year before. If Brady hadn’t gotten Pollardized, it’d be a different story. Remind me to send that dude a thank you letter.

In other news, the Raiders won today. What does this mean? Not a goddamn thing.

Shit, Dallas, your Boys got fucked up

    EB,
The Pats had the cashmere sched? Nahh mayne, check the Fins on that one. New England’s loss to the Jets has to be the game they are killing themselves over.

Anyhoo, congrats to LM for his second win in the DP dot com Football Pool.

Check me out this week for the specifics on the NFL playoffs pool. Free t-shirts for the winner of that joint.

  5. The schedule that I looked at (before Tom Brady went down like Frazier) in August was butter soft. Despite how much I would love to smack Brady with a refrigerator, he would have beaten Miami and led led the Pats deep into the playoffs. But I guess that will be one of 2008’s great “What Ifs”

Congrats to LM for winning the Football Pool.

dallas sucks & the BEST TEAM IN THE NFL with the best QB & Coach and core of players will be sitting at home next weekend.

    your a moron.

Wow. Thx for the love, but YOU ARE a shit4brains and YOUR dad is a hermaphrodite

Thanks for the yahoo group, Dallas. It re-sparked my interest in the NFL. Last couple of years I would just check for some games & then the playoffs.

  9. big rils says:

Damn. 11-5 and missing the playoffs?! The Brady-less patriots are still better than the following teams: Miami, San Diego, Minnesota, Arizona, but they get to go and we stay home.

Pats had a somewhat easy schedule because the AFC and NFC West were jokes this year, but still had to run up against the Colts and Steelers, who the Fins and Jets got to avoid.

Anyone remember when Jabar Gaffney dropped a wide open TD pass that would have sealed the Indy game in our favor? I do.

    @ Big Rils:

    I do!

Sorry ass Cowboys. T.O. is the A-Rod of football. Meaning teams that they on will never win a title. Let’s Go Giants!

I am a Patriots fan from Sao Paulo, Brazil.
I really liked your blog with the Patriots mentioned item. I grew up watching Steve Grogan and Stanley Morgan.
I try to follow as much NFL news as I can with the internet.
