How Does Fresh Eat?

the truth

HowFresh is my big homey from the tippy top of Manhattan. HowFresh gets around though. You have to respect HF’s fitted cap game as well as his classic NYC swagger.

HF and I don’t share the exact same taste in footwear, but we pretty sure the same taste in overall taste. HowFresh’s website is called ‘HowFresh Eats’ and it travels around NYC with him as HF gets it in.

HF caught up to the tail end of the Sneaker Fiends Unite! NYC Tour from AmyRuth’s in new Ha’arlem. Give him a look see. You won’t be disappointed.

Damn, what a cardiac special! I could easily love a couple of those wings…there is no pseudo authentic Chinese 🙁 food here in Sweden. 🙁 Why no photo caption or link for HF?

  4. There’s something very apocalyptic– or post-apocalyptic– about plantains, like they’re one of the things That. Will. Always. Survive.

  5. I like how the SFU tours are now concluding with a meal….except that I missed the last one….that and I got salad at the Colombian spot because i wasn’t that hungry last time, only to find myself hungry at GCT, ready to start chewing on a bum’s coat.

DP- good looks on this. Hate catching the “tali end” though. But where’s the link dude??? Slow down on the sauce. I’ll do it for you- HOWFRESHEATS. Pra’li donation in the mail?

  7. Oh shit, Fresh– you were the dude talking about the Honduran joint on Brook Ave near St Mary’s Park, or am I misremembering? I was surprised to see that reference, as it’s a pretty obscure spot and cuisine. I lived off pernil at Cuchifrito 2000 on Willis Ave for almost a year in… 2003. I think millenium fever finally waned in 2006 and now it’s something else I can’t remember… Not La Fondita, which is a weird/partly good Mexican joint on the other side of 138th.

Hot Mott Haven tip: the something taqueria on St Ann’s Ave between 138th & 137th.

    HowFresh,
I’m laughing my ass off at the typos and mis-tagging I did here.

Anyhoo, we gotta pop off that concept before too long.

Next SFU NYC Tour is in May and we will be going through Brooklyn.

Willis- yeah man. The spot’s called La Orquidea. Heard great things but never been. Good looks on the other recommendations. With the nice weather I’ll definitely be out there.

P-Matik- we’ll do the uptown fried whiting tournament. Brackets and all.
