North Philly keeps it realer than most other cities.
Back in June when I was ripping around Philadelphia I spent a few hours in the back studio of the legendary record store Phenomenal. The store was located on your typical ghetto hood movie set. There was the barber shop, the Chinese food spot and the pizza shop on the corner. Sandwiched in the middle of all that activity was the record store.
Along with the latest CD’s, magazines and videos were containers of shea butter lotion and a forty ounce in the soda bottle cooler. Like I said, North Philly keeps it realer than most.
I’m going to roll out some videos from the studio session where my audio isn’t washed out from all the classic boom bap bass.
“82-88 part in your fade!?!?!?!?! that shit is a monster track. that kid is nice.
Check a brother out Dallas.
