The Association 2010: Fastrack To Futility…

devin harris

Nets fans were surely still celebrating the team’s 6th win coming against the Boston Celtics so you might could imagine a let down was inevitable when the Nets matched up with the morale depleted and manpower decimated Washington Wizards.

Wiz guard Randall Foye who grew up in Newark decided to punish the Nets. Can you imagine how hard dude would have gone in[ll] if the Nets played in the Prudential Center on Market Street in downtown Newark? Sonn would have been a monster.

Why aren’t the Nets playing in Newark anyhoo? The Prudential Center was built for an economical $375M. That might be the reason the Nets haven’t moved their yet. Their ownership is trying to squeeze more money from the taxpayers for their subpar product.

That figures, isn’t that how Jay-Z sold the Blueprint 3.

BTW, scoring streak aside. Kevin Durant is the Association’s MVP this year.

  1. Just replaced busted LG cell phone on Jay St (thankfully free) and dude handed me a voucher for two “free”* tickets to the goddamn Nyets, Detroit on the 26th, Charlotte on the 12th…

Like yeah, I’m going to fucking shit! But if the Nyets were in Newark, I’d consider it, easy PATH ride & good dinner beforehand.

    * plus .75 each to Ticketmaster.

I hope “Stadium Status” puts all this shit to rest forever; I’m ecstatic the hockey team lost but would be thrilled to break out the Red White & Blue for an ABA II.

nets are going to be playing in brick city.

next two years, while the stadium is built in Brook-nam…………

the thing is…..once the move to brooklyn was announced…..nets have been a lame duck team…once some bronx tale shit “nobody cares….nobody cares”

    hence my username

why does marcus camby look SCARED in EVERY picture EVER taken of him on the court…?

The Nets should stay and play in Newark. Brand new facility, good PT access, and Newark needs the help way more than overdeveloped whitebread ass downtown Brooklyn….

let me tell y’all a funny story..

some of the little grimy kids out there got it Fd up and twisted..

hockey game out there…..so these kids think

    white people =food

not knowing that hockey fans aren’t your every day garden variety white people..

for one…..they come to the arena deep and they’re charged for the game anyway…

    I saw it…thought he didn’t when he did…

3 kids tried to hem him up….he smacked hellfire out of all three THEN the cops arrested them…

cops pretty much have the 3 blocks from penn station to the arena on lock during games though

If the Nets don’t take it to the Bricks backyard, they will NEVER prosper. The Meadowlands is just difficult to get to, even for NJ’ans. Over the years, I’ve had quite a few Nets/Giants/D’Evils tickets thrown my way & just couldn’t navigate via train.

Dallas, I got a re-post request–You gotta throw on “Dead Wrong Entertainment”. That is some funny, type-random sh*t.

Willis said it best, Nyet. Either way, they embarassed the Boston Celtics and may Dart Adams bow his head in shame. That championship season seemed like yesterday.

OK D, I think I get it, Kevin Durant is a special young player. 😉

  8. DirtyJerz says:

    HAHA! Shots @ Dart!??
    nice!

    WSW,
I was on Jay this afternnon myself. I had to take the B62 aka the hipster shuttle to my office in LIC. Sure, the subway is faster but I had a transfer left on my MetroCard

The Wiz morale is just fine, we’re playing better after the trades. Our roster is decimated though, but the future looks bright!
