Everybody becomes a kid again for Opening Day.
Being a fan of the legendary outfielder KEN GRIFFEY Jr. gets a little bit easier for me with Nike’s retro releases of his signature shoes. This summer will see the Griffey Max GD II’s back on the streets.
The first colorway is an all black with red trim. Nike is also issuing a white/grey edition right behind the all blacks in case you don’t like wearing black sneakers during the summer. The shoes rest on the patented Air Max TL platform.
Just don’t let me find out that you are using these kicks to catch foul balls [ll].
No doubt the black ones.
I used to hate watching Seattle pound out the Yanks…(II)… Seattle played themselves ripping apart that team.
Is Griffey one of the few who didn’t get a ring on that team?
im picking mariners for the wild card this year, nl wild card is such a joke, but i guess it depends on the level of play of the nl east.
I remember when Upper Deck with the authentic laser hologram first came out. Blew Fleer’s upgrade out of the water. Poor Topps was never the same again…

cocotaso, I agree with you also that those should have been in a solid colorway, especially oxblood because of how it looks against the gumsole. I’m gonna pass on this release and stay with my eyes open for any further releases
