Jim Jones has to be much better on the court than he is on the mic so… I gotta give dude credit however: tho’ he found his true level (LOW), did anyone in hip-hip with less skills do as much? “Harlem American Gangster” is, also, one of the absolutely most retarded albums ever made, so props for no half-steppin.
As for P! (#30 on the back cover of BCC “The Chosen Few”) two things:
1) Congratz to Rustee Juxx on a very good album; I never wanna hear him say “Your mama is a slut” again, even as a joke (even “Up your nose with a rubber hose” would be better) but after the mixed bag of P! Presents solo– which isn’t terrible, just confused– it’s nice to give props instead of just being quiet like… uh.
2) Am I crazy to maybe see P! as the potential Charles Oakley- if not Dontrevius Wenters– of this league?
