NBA 2010: Finals Blueprint…

lakeshow celts

If you ask me the NBA should just cut the shenanigans and get right to a Lakeshow Celtics ‘chip. I will not watch a single minute of an Orlando Phoenix Finals. No disrespect to Orlando’s own, nerditry. The Lakeshow Celtics Finals is David Stern’s legacy. Actually, the Lakers vs. Boston title series predates Stern’s rulership. That is some Wilt x Cousy x Russell x West shit from the micro-tightpants era. The Association has been using this blueprint for their Finals ever since.

The backstory of the Lakers x Celtics matchup hasn’t really changed. Sure the only white the Celtics have on their team is the piping in their jerseys but they are still the scrappy, aging, hardest working, overachievers and the Lakeshow is the prima donna ballerinas (except for Artest). That script never gets old, you just replace McHale for his protege Garnett, altho’ since that incident a few years back in Colorado you might could say that Kobe’s johnson is more tragic than magic [ll].

I can’t be bothered with these Suns or this Magic squad who are both supremely talented teams but they lack the players who can show and prove on the biggest stages. On paper these Conference Finals should be 7-game overtime-required series. Instead they are looking like four and done affairs. There, I said it. I won’t watch another second of these Conference ‘chips until Orlando or Phoenix can prove to me they want in.

    Dallas,

I think you should check the BeanTown/Orlando series just to see how the Celtics’ bigs are putting a hurting on Dwight Howard and whipping that silly smirk off his face. Perkins is a mean motherscratcher, I’ve never seen dude smile.

  2. I won’t count out the Suns just yet, but very rarely do teams win the first game of a series & not go on the take it all the way. The Lake Show look like they did the first 2 months of last season: coming fresh of winning that trophy. Now, they see it again, & have obviously been reminded of how good it feels to be the champs. I just hope the rest of the team can continue to contribute, lest we have to tolerate Kobe’s one man nozzle show [ll] or we fall to the Celtics (pronounced Kell-ticks).

I’m just glad the Cavs got put out. & ftr, I couldn’t care less where Lebronze ends up.

  3. ^^Yeah, I said “Lebronze.” Until he proves he’s worthy of (that) gold (championship ring), bronze is all I’ll give him.

i made a bet that celtics were going to finals day before playoffs started. At least two people owe me sandwiches.

  5. Boing Dynasty says:

The Lakers can moonwalk (or whatever that quasi-homo looking dance those fruity tight jean LA kids do) to the finals, but Orlando is 8 & 1 in the playoffs, and most of the players on the Celtics Hate(note: capitol h) each other plus there old as f*ck. Tony Allen has been putting in work this offseason tho.

you hatin on scalabrinni?!…i am. i think lebrons gonna do one of these three things too… stay on cleveland for a year, go to europe for a year, or take a year off. eff him goin to chicago though

  7. hl says:

    That Paul/Kobe illustration is dope.

  8. Rob says:

If these series’ go the way the game 1’s did it should be boston vs. LA in a week. Lake Show FTW!

    @ Grands
    LeBronze…. heh

  9. Lake Show FTMFW!!!

I’m looking forward to that Kobe vs Rajon battle. Unless for some reason they put SB or D.Fish on him.

  10. Children of Sanchez says:

maybe Rondo will punch Showbee in the the face like when he clocked Kirk Heinrich last year

  11. Ayre says:

    Lakers-Celtics rubber match coming soon!

Kobe’s johnson is more tragic than magic [ll].

    Hahaha!!!

  13. LEX says:

    That Kobe/Pierce picture is banging!

Boston Celtics vs. Los Angeles Lakers. Angry old & young dudes that would run through a wall to win a game vs. A bunch of dudes that will triangle you to death with their bigs & rely on the best closer in the NBA in tight situations. I hope it happens. When I was a kid those were some great Junes, even when the Celtics lost…

    One.

i am a Laker fan, first off. second, that pierce/kobe pic is some epic shit, love it.
the way i see it is this, Steve Nash >>> Rajan Rondo. so if Nash aint got it going against the lakeshow, yet. what is Rondo gonna do that can put a stop to the lakers… what, Rondo has a better team around him?.?.?. huh… stop it, man! the only thing i see that would prevent the lakers from repeating is if Bynum gets hurt. & like Grand$ said Lakeshow FTMFW!!!

    Brethren what it do?

    Oh sh^t! Dart Adams???? OK

Yo Grands I need that info again, I cleaned the box out…(II)?…

    BOS v LA

7 games. Need to see the 1st game for any type of prediction/bet.

    And as for LeBronze(LOL):

CHI-I don’t see this move. Maybe if Jordan was there…Wade I could see.

CLE-if the rumors are true, that team will be blown apart (it will anyway). It would take them about 2 years to get back to the Conf Finals, the same amount of time it would take for the Knicks to step up.

    NYK-best move

    BKLYN-2nd best move.

What I was saying to the homies, right now LBJ’s legacy looks more like AI’s instead of Jordan’s.
