Michael Vick is the unofficial and most likely unacknowledged MVP of the NFL. He is single-handedly the greatest show on Earth. He is like Vince Carter mixed with Cliff Lee and a side order of Pele. Vick commands all the attention when he is on the football field and this allows his teammates to be great if they want to be. And DeSean Jackson WANTS to be great too.
The DP.com Pick ‘Em Football Pool is also unofficially over at this point. LM has been in first place since week 1 for the first wire-to-wire win in the DP.com pool. I rallied to make it look closer than it was but I’ve fallen back to my 5 correct weekly pick ways. Congrats to LM and to everyone else that stuck it out until the end (which still has two week remaining).

It just let’s me know that we can redeem ourselves by winning games (championships see: Kobe Bryant, Alex Rodriguez) on national television and the media will loudly cheer and celebrate our victories. Quietly they may or may not mention our past steroid abuse, rape allegations, or underground dog fighting arenas. Speaking of arenas, Gilbert Arena could use a championships right about now or at least a great offensive seasons.
