Say Hi To The Bad Guys…

rebels

The UNLV Runnin’ Rebels under coach Jerry Tarkanian were the O.G. Fab 5 before the Michigan Wolverine’s infamous starting squad.

The Rebels were hated across America as much as Mike Tyson. Can you imagine how the story was posited when the Rebels faced the Duke Blue Devils in the 1990 NCAA Championship?

The ‘bad guys’ won the title.

The 1990 Runnin’ Rebels where one of the best and most exciting college teams ever. They were Black Americas team because the establishment (NCAA) were out to get them. I think the majority of black kids that followed college ball at that time understood what the Rebels were going through. We all wanted to see them win and win big. Great games back then. Peace.

Great team to watch. Just a powerhouse Godzilla-like team that STOMPED Duke . (Esp. enjoyable since Duke had been responsible for ruining UConn’s Cinderella season) Of course, the NCAA corrected that the next yr when UNLV lost to Duke thanks to some WWF-style officiating.

Oh….and fuck Christian Laettner. Word to Larry Johnson’s gold tooth.

I doing medical billing and collecting out here in Cali, I got a call with this guy and his insurance rep on the phone. He was a major Ass Hole, the guy is old and sh0t so I didn’t trip that he was an incoherent bastard. I feel sorry for who ever is his nanny because he is a pain in the ass. The whole time the guy was yelling, it was funny
