DP’s Rhythm & BBQ…

Your boy dP is here to add a little bit of this spice to your cookout today. Loose Ends was part of the British R&B invasion from the 1980s who made some funky, smoothed out, soulful grooves.

Put some of this sauce on your meat [ll]

‘Gonna Make You Mine’

‘Slow Down’

‘Stay A Little While Child’

And you know we have to drop the all time Loose Ends classic otherwise this would not be the official DP BBQ soundtrack…

‘Hanging On A String’

Love Loose Ends! “Zagora” is a classic album too. I was just talking about the British Invasion with Soul II Soul, but Loose Ends was definitely first. They invaded cookouts in Detroit too, from ’84 to like ’86. Yeah, I was on it!

    Digs,
Soul II Soul was after Loose Ends but Soul II Soul made a larger impact in pop music since they crossed over and went global. Caron Wheeler worked with Loose Ends too.

    illill,
Good point about Pete Rock placing Loose Ends on his Soul Survivor album. I’ll def make sure I crack off some kind of July 4th Lifestyle drop for you homey.
