    interesting… the first time i ever heard drum n bass mixed with the acid jazz. nice combo, even tho i woulda liked to heard the drum changes with the chord progressions for a full measure. it sounds like the drums were on a i guesstimate a 20 bar phrase. nice. and thats a lot of patient, inspired programming.

    for extra points, name the drum break those drums, and basically every drum n bass record comes from?

    Yeah I should have been more specific ‘Amen Break’ is the name of the 6 second drum solo sampled from the song – here’s an interesting vid on it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5SaFTm2bcac.

    Nicest use of the break in Hip Hop? That would have to be Straight Outta Compton I think.
