Making Money Up Under You Since 1996…

I fux with this Roc-A-Wear tee. Why the hell should it make any money for the Occupy Wall Street movement? The only person it needs to make money for is the manufacturer.

You ever seen these t-shirts? I couldn’t tell you how many were bought or sold. I just know that the people who own the cotton-stitching machine are satisfied with the outcome.

Occupy Wall Street can’t own the word ‘occupy’ or the idea of sitting in somewhere just to get your point across. As long as the people who own the means to production ans distribution are comfortable the beat goes on. Occupy that.

“We as rappers must decide what’s most impor-tant
And I can’t help the poor if I’m one of them
So I got rich and gave back, to me that’s the win/win”

Critics are mad because they didnt think of it first. Been a Longtime, since a Roc-a-wear anything was sought after so vigorously.

i’m not mad at the hustle, but it does bother me that he wouldn’t just donate proceeds to the cause. i’m sure he/they do enough to help, but to me…this is exactly what is wrong with the illuminati. i don’t believe that Hov is part of it for 1 second, but moves like this are suspect as all hell.

either way,,,good press or bad press is press and frankly, i don’t own anything rocawear.

Honestly those people are pathetic, why don’t they go out and get a damn job instead of asking for handouts from t-shirt sales… Your 100% correct, the company designed the shirt and produced it, there is no reason to give to some bullshit group that isn’t even a real charity.

Do they really think they will change the world by sitting in some park? They are no REAL threat to anything (beside hygiene), and who is supposed to fulfill these “Demands” they have?? Big corporations, the government?? Wishful thinking…

The Camel is real pathetic for this. If he’s gonna jack the Occupy slogan, he should give the proceeds to the Occupy movement. Perhaps for the medical bills of the people that have been physically beaten by police, like the Marine in Oakland who had his skull fractured. BTW, interesting how the 99%ers get arrested, but none of the Wall$treet Welfare Whore CE-Hos or other executives of Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan, AIG, etc whose criminal behavior caused the 2008 Financial Crisis.

to the Camel apologist and anti-99% commenters:
1 most of the Occupy participants have jobs, they go to the Occupy in their free time.
2 there’s something like 4+ unemployed for each job opening in the economy. In some metro areas the ratio is even worse. There was a news article on how Wack Arnolds had something like 20:1 applicants to hires. It is the worst job market since the 1930s. So your “get a job” statement is economically ignorant. There is literally not enough jobs to absorb the unemployed. The policy needed is a FD Roosevelt style infrastructure program to build an 21st century electrical grid, repair broken roads/bridges/canals/sewer system/etc, but the 1%ers plutocrat weed carriers Obama/Boehner/Romney/etc won’t consider it.

The ppl complaining are either too dumb or arrogant to realize that “Occupy All Streets” has a distinctly different tone & message.
