A few weeks ago on the Combat Jack Show we learned that Jarobi(ATCQ) and Dres(BlackSheep) were coming together to form a group and keep the spirit of the Native Tongues collective active and current.
You certainly can’t get any more current than taking on the greedy capitalism which is fueling our economic system to its destruction. That’s the theme for the group’s first single off their upcoming album.

i love the NT with all my heart, but they are 15 yrs too late tryin to bring it back. out of all crews this is possibly the only one where death or jail didn’t fuck things up. yeah i know about young chi, but he didn’t contribute that much to his own shit in the first place. imagine a native tounges album in 96 with atcq. de la, jbz, busta, mos, beatnuts, monie, latifah, brand nu and i could go on……damn

I’m glad dres is still nice with the mic like he was with the Black Sheep debut. He’s a cat I ALWAYS thought should have received more acclaim for his verses.
