Over the last few months I will admit to being part of the KANGAY bandwagon. I have complained about his tiny, tight jackets and his ridonkulous sunglasses. Maybe I was hating on dude because I am a little green. Here I am with a dozen POLO Bear sweaters(some are over 13yrs old) and all people tell me when I wear them is that I am trying to be like KANYE WEST.
Hell no! I have never sketched a detailed portait of JOHN LEGEND that I keep in my home. I have never had my eyebrows threaded. I was completely ready to drop a post that asks the question, “has anyone seen KANYE with a lady?” And then ol’ boy goes and does one of the most courageous and idiotic things that you could ever expect from someone that has been annointed by mainstream media as one of the ‘good’ negroes. His comments made on live television weren’t safe and prepared. KANYE was passsionate and real. Not rap music real, but real life real. Because of these comments he may never have his music aired on MTV again (yeah B.E.T. might still play his joints but who still watches B.E.T.?).
KANYE has essentially committed career suicide since the station that he aired his outburst on – NBC, is totally owned by UNIVERSAL ENTERTAINMENT which distributes ISLAND RECORDS, which owns DEF JAM RECORDS, which owns ROC-A-FELLA RECORDS.
And speaking of career suicide…
Has anyone seen or heard from New Orleans Mayor C.RAY NAGIN after he made this expletive filled radio broadcast?
He was on the news, walking the president from his plane when he flew in to Louisiana
