Knicks Finally Beat The Heat…

What was prA’li the final home game for the Knickerbockers 2011-12 season was filled with drama and defined what the season has become for the team and its fans.

The Knicks pulled out a 2pt victory from the team every oddsmaker is predicting to hold onto the Eastern Conference crown and return to the Association tournament final round.

Carmelo Anthony was 2pts shy of reaching his Knick high score. Partly because he missed too many free throws and partly because Dwayne Wade gave him the Alonzo Mourning treatment on a dunk attempt.

But the Knicks stood tall and were resilient even after Baron Davis left the game with a horrific knee injury. Thanks to Amar’e Soudemire’s valiant efforts and the remaining team’s determination.

These Knicks might not play another game together after these playoffs but at least they stopped the post-season winless streak the franchise was mired in. Godspeed Baron Davis. Thank you Knickerbockers for the 2011-12 season.
