Respect to Joe Conzo for the flicks…
I got to the Brooklyn Hip-Hop Fest in time to watch Busta Rhymes do what he does alongside Spliff Star and a host of rap dignitaries from Slick Rick, to Lil’ Fame, to Buckshot, Smif-n-Wessun, A Tribe Called Quest and Busta’s original cohorts The Leaders of the New School.
Busta also ran thru all of his hits with at least a verse of rhymes and gyrations. Spliff Star might not be the GOAT weedcarrier that Consequence is, but he sure helps Busta carry thru his catalog with high energy and verve.
Salutes to Brooklyn Bodega for another successful afternoon of beats, rhymes and life.
yes indeed the shit was glorious. bein that i was in brooklyn i must say i was actually checkin for you at the show, expecting to see you with your camera rollin. what a fuckin coincidence i ended up bumpin into you like for real for real. yous a cool cat indeed. the pulled pork sliders with the slaw were official. i hope you had a chance to fux wit them.
