SEPARATED AT BIRTH: TRAP STAR REDUCIO

jeezykiss

I’m not going to pretend to understand the subtle nuances of rap music as well as some of you cats out here on the web. I actually have a job and girlfriend. The question I have is why don’t y’all be beating the webforums up to hear spit from the original trapstar?

‘KISS was that D-boy before Cash Money, before the Clipse, Dips, the salt and vinegar chips and way before YOUNG JEEZY. The internets is real flimsy and fickle. I’m starting not to believe in y’all. Why is Nah’Right the only cat to still show ‘KISS some respect? Everybody always wanna be on that new new bandwagon.

Hey Dallas . . . note. Andre 3000 was the first to say “Hip Hop is Dead” some where on Stankonia. Killa Mike later recorded a song called “Hip Hop is Dead,” which was considerably good. Now the southern rappers is saying Nas is hating.

    Trap Boys, D-Boys, etc.
Really? Is Jeezy still trapping or is he rapping? Last time I checked, cocaine, heroin, or whatever illegal narcotic of choice breaks apart urban, low-income communities. Deteriorating already fractured family units should be celebrated and promoted a bit more often, because some one gotta eat. Wait maybe I’m just hating but then again it is what it is, right? or wrong?

    @vee

“…makin’ them think hip-hop is dead, exhume the body if you ain’t scared”

not sure if this is the line you’re referring to, but if so, it’s actually big boi who said it and it’s from aquemini

Twerkolator . . . you just killed me.
I didn’t even know that one. Andre said it some where in Stankonia or something, I know he mentioned it in interviews. Outkast set , then the whole OkayPlayer clique just ran with the sentiment. Either way it doesn’t matter.

Trap originator or not, ‘Kiss to this day is just a vapid lyrical emcee. He’s nice, but has nothing to offer or say. Does he even have a good stage show? Styles has way more depth and substance.

Street cred is a seriously overrated criteria that means nothing but you’ll hear Jeezy bark all day about how he’s really in the streets.

    — ranting about cRap music, I see your point Dallas, let me go back to work —

What I think is really funny is how the word “boy” has become part of the Knee-Grow lexicon no matter how old you are. Funny thing happened on the way to insignificance…. Call my old man “boy” no matter how glorious you mean it, and 30+ years in the suburbs has not deaded the Southsider in him… I think it was summed up the best in that cRapper Opus “Who’s The Man” –

Drill Sargeant: “What the f*ck you looking at boy!!!!”
Dr. Dre’: “Boy is a white racist term.”

Holler at your boy somewhere else!

    You aint never lie 40.

It seems like most of our terms of endearment for one another are psychologically belittling….ex. Boy, Son Nigga, Kid and Bitch. At what age do we drop the title Young from our names!?! Too many boys not enough men. Fuck it, for now on I’m Young Elohezzy.

  6. Lion XL says:

Just for the record, ya’ll best call me OG Lion XL or Imma drop some hurt on ya’ll youngins………..

and one more thing….it’s SUN (not SON), if you wanna be real about it..

‘I call my brother SUN, cuz he shines like one’ – Meth, 36 chambers

  7. 911 says:

I can’t believe you put Jada in the same post as…….smh…….has he fallen that far…..well even if he has he’s still that far ahead of dude.

  8. ELOHEEM STAR says:

^^ “and one more thing….it’s SUN (not SON), if you wanna be real about it..”

True indeed Lion, but I had to drop saying SUN because the term over years got exploited and morphed in to SON.

why is it that 90 percent southern rappers never rhyme words that consist of 5 letters or more. They’re usually bringing it BACK while riding that ‘AC bumping this TRACK. plain ol’ coonery.
