Are you joking? Statistically education’s going to get him much further financially. If dance education or the pursuit of a career in dance is part of that, so be it. But that’s like saying sports or rap is THE road to financial success. Those and some others may be the path to huge bucks but it’s a narrow one, and for every education shunner who’s squeezed through multiples more haven’t. Statistically speaking, that’s a losing proposition.
If you’re saying that it’s a problem that little homey has too great a chance NOT to get an education, than I’m with you. And I’m with you on the notion that education doesn’t guarantee financial success relative to days past. But it still raises the odds considerably. And that’s statistical.
