I thought I would be remiss in creating a series of sneakers representing D.C. Comics characters and not holding it down for some of the villains that make the heroes do damn interesting. The first villain that came to my mind is Batman’s arch-nemesis. Let’s face it, who in the world is more ill than the Joker? No, I mean that literally. This dude is straight up effin’ bananas.
He’s so effin’ crazy that he will run up on Superman just to get at Batman. In the end I think that’s what everyone digs about the Joker is his singular obsession with the Bat. Nullus, as always, to any and all homoeroticism as it might relate to comic book characters and my sneaker collection.
DP: Maybe you mentioned this before, but about how many pairs of sneakers do you own? I own about 4 pair, but then again I usually wear shoes or boots.
Also, I had asked this before, but is Nike the only brand that allows the consumer to customize to their preference?

I can’t believe you don’t wear your shoes either. I tried that with the fire red V’s and fire red III’s that had such a centimental value to me from when I was kid…I think each of them lasted about 4 days in the box before I busted them out.

Those Joker joints are pretty cool mayne, not bad. I just saw the pic of Heath Ledger as the Joker thats circulating around the internets and the shit damn near paralyzed me. It cant possibly get anymore homicidal than that. Gotta love it.

^^ Dubble, I own about 50 pairs of deadstock kicks and I have a rotation of 20-25. I have other brands in my overall collection other than NIKE, but I am fucking with NIKE right now because they have been treating me with respect. I was even NIKE-Adidas about ten years ago and then Adidas started acting funnystyle because I didn’t wear tight track jackets. I sold my pistachio colored Puma Californias on eBay when Puma became the homo brand. I have some K-Swiss O.G.’s, all leather Tretorn O.G.’s. Hence, I call my drops about gear ‘The Addict’.
