Poisonous Paragraphs widely respected writer DART ADAMS has geeked out in a great way for Black History Month. Check out…
Dart Adams presents Black Like Me: The History Of Black Comic Book Heroes Through The Ages Part One 1900-1968
and,
Dart Adams presents Black Like Me: The History Of Black Comic Book Heroes Through The Ages Part Two 1969-2008
DART clarifies some of my questions about Black folks appearances in comicbooks. Most people forget the socialization aspect of comics. Today’s younger generation doesn’t favor the books as much due to the proliferation of image-based media from video games to animation. DART did a yeoman’s job on this series. Go give him his props.

Oh no…it happened all right! Image put it out in 1999 and called it Nine Rings Of Wu Tang. That shit was meh,
One.
^Appreciate that. RZA cites it with some staggering stat of it “being the biggest comic debut to date” or some shit but I never saw it or knew anyone who had it. You’re actually the first no-Wu confirmation some 9 years later…
yea i got ish#0 but thats it.#0 i got from wizard price guide.the book was based on the wu vid game….and it was meh like dart said!!!!
Great shit. You knows I feen for this. Dart, good looking brah!
That’s what I like. I do wish you had mentioned how Storm put the smack down on Cyclops when she didn’t have powers and he left the mansion like a bitch!
@ Amadeo:
If I wrote all the shit wanted to about Storm, my thoughts on her portrayal over the years or her many amazing feats after Henry Peter “Bitchassness Personified” Gyrich hit her with the gun that took away her powers (I have that issue) I would literally have to put a cast on my right wrist. I had to hold back on Falcon, Blank Panther, Luke Cage, Storm and Night Thrasher for real.
One.
