@Dart: You’re being generous by giving Z that much credit. He can barely stay in the game as he’s running on paper ankles and has limited (by limited, I mean zero) mobility in any direction. While they’ve improved their supporting cast, they still can’t get very far off of one dude’s enormous talent. They need to find a bona fide second banana (Pippenesque, if you will). Something like the Lakers’ use of Odom.

I saw him when he came here to the H and he dropped 37 and dished out about 11 dimes with little to no effort…then he drops 21, dishes 10 dimes, and gets 4 steals with ease. If the Hornets finish atop the West the man deserves the MVP.

Chris Paul is great. It’s nice to see a point guard in the league who actually PLAYS point guard (no Marbury). He reminds me of Isiah before he drowning franchises like a bag of kittens.

Zydrunas Ilgauskas is 7’3. That fact alone makes him a matchup problem for a 6’10 defender (Perkins). Forget that he’s one of the top offensive rebounders in the NBA or that he has good hands, can pass well and has range out to the three point line.
