So Disrespectful…

Dallas Mavericks 128 – New York Knicks 78

This looks like a watershed moment in the season and D’Antoni’s coaching stint here in New York. The Knicks 50pt loss to the Mavericks yesterday was their worst home loss ever. If they don’t have enough self-respect that is one thing, but that should happen in someone else’s gym and not on your homecourt.

If we were in Japan Mike D’Antoni would go into Jim Dolan’s office and commit suicide.

Seppuku is onkly reserved for the Samurai to die with honor rather than fall into the hands of their enemies.

    D’Antwaine already fell

If they don’t get lebron fans should given a year of free tickets…or better yet free beer while at the game.

Yeah DP, the Knickerbockers really need to pick it up. And im a Mavs fan but just to see a native team lose like that its horrible. Dey got shut down on both ends of the court, and out coached. Its surprising cause’ dey were really picking up things in the season, dey almost beat the Lakers, and the Lakers destoyed dallas da last matchup.

Actually this loss is more of an aberration of this current Knicks team. Considering we have no alpha dog on this squad they’ve been holding it down more than people realize. Just look back to Friday where we took the defending champs to the wire, and we’ve been alot better than many expect. Of course real Knick fans who watch the game and aren’t on a hiatus waiting for LeBron to become fans again. D’Antoni & Walsh is installing a system and culture in the Knicks organization that hasn’t been there in a while. These kind of losses are going to come. He’ll we beat Phoenix by 30 at one point this season…

  5. Are they the only team to win by 50 (48) and lose by 50 in the same season?

  6. Smear says:

Sad. John Starks needs to come off of coaching that slamball team and rejoin the Knicks.

coaching the knicks is a NO win situation

the knicks couldn’t win with Ewing….even when Jordan was playing baseball….and the finals against the spurs might have been more competitive had Ewing not been hurt

ever since then…….knicks have done Jack Shit…

nobody wants to play in such a dog eat dog media market…can’t sign a true superstar

if they don’t get Lebron, d’antoni’s experiment blows up…

Dallas, I’m mad at this post and picture!!! Yeah I blame you.

40! Thanks for the perspective, we have to take the losses with the wins.

    getthesenets,
damn homey, so we’re not going to give the Knicks props for making it to the Finals twice. Doesn’t being the Eastern Conference champs, one of the best defensive teams count for anything? I understand being #1, winning-winning-winning is the end all-be all and no one remembers the losing team but can’t we at least celebrate their efforts?

Many great players were unable to topple the Jordan+Pippen+Phil Jackson trifecta. Besides, Jordan had Ewing’s number since college, like Magic had Bird’s number.

the Nj Nets….went to the finals in successive years…..and LOST

the 2 years Jordan was off striking out somewhere was the chance for all those players from that era to get rings…..

if it’s any consolation…..in game 6 when starks launched that 3….Akeem fouled him..but no way ref was gonna call that…

Dream was doing ballet moves on Ewing though…
    ========================
and Magic had Bird’s number but Bird got one of his rings against Magic…

Ewing should have gotten 3 rings(in college)….that fool fred brown threw the ball to worthy in a brainlock…..

  11. Solution: make the Knicks play the remaining home games @ West 4th Street.

. . . yeah I was mad at that, but when he was dancing on Shaquille and David Robinson (especially in the All Star Games in San Antonio) it was so sweet.

I’m still a Starks fan, he gave the Garden so much energy and passion.

The Knicks need to sign DONTREVIUS WENTERS!!
