The mid-height field boot might be Timberland’s most iconic shoe. The profile of this boot belongs to Timberland, and Timberland ONLY. I’m not saying that other bootmakers haven’t copied the field boot, but to this day only Timberland makes the reliable and trusted boot that I would purchase. Luckily for me and my Timberland addiction the A.J. Wright stores carry these shoes with first run quality at factory second prices.
You should have seen Chocolate Snowflake’s face when I picked up these boots. “Not another pair of boots?!” is what she said. But I had to explain to her that $49.99 for the ‘Beef and Broccoli’ was like I was stealing them. The B&B mid field bot is a shoe. This is one of the boots that can ably crossover to whatever you need to do for you. You can even use these as an athletic shoe to a degree. I used to ride my mountain bike wearing these.
Timberland’s premium waterproof upper isn’t the big draw for me on this model. I actually like the padded leather ankle collar and the D-ring quick tie lacing system. The mid field boot isn’t for navigating the extreme snowdrifts that the full height field boot can get through but these boots keep you faster on your feet than the high tops. The mid heigh boots are built for speed.
Classics I tell ya. I need to search for some high top replacements.

I always wanted those growing up, but never got a pair. Like Guess boots to match my Cross Colors. I had to settle for the Vangrack (with matching jacket). Cats weren’t up on that back then…

i remember someone busted my lock during gym class and took my joints. i remember walking towards the lockers and someone yelling a couple lockers got busted check if you got your stuff. i was pissed my boots were gone but everything else was inside the locker. they even left the money in my wallet that is why i think it was a inside job. they busted that joint and left everything except the boots. they knew exactly where they were in and out. the next couple weeks i became a bully anyone wearing beef and brocs i was checking your size. if you had a 10 and your joints looked fresh we was having problems.

Yeah, California cats didn’t know about those. Truth be told, I used to ride the east coast so tough when I was younger, all it took was for me to hear LL & Extra P (on Breaking Atoms) mention it, & I was on it. With the matching 3/4 winter jacket. Nobody @ school, the entire school, had any Vangracks.
