DOOM – ‘Batty Boyz’

Batman’s relationship with the Boy Wonder has always made him suspect in the eyes of many as being a grade-A fruitstick. I think Superman peeped his steez early and tried to turn him out, but Batman always kept mad tricks up his sleeve (literally) and ended up making Superman his bitch.

This is what DOOM was spitting about. You might wanna say six pauses real loud and cross your heart before you continue reading this drop. No, but really…

Okay, so before I even read you the dialogue just peep the key Superman is holding. I think he is gonna try to ‘key’ Batman.

Superman: An evening here will do us good I think, especially in view of how we’ve grown closer these pat few months
Batman: True. I feel we can now discuss almost anything with each other
Superman: And since we sense trouble in each other why don’t we shars the burdens. You start Batman

Ha. Superman try’na gass Batman to come out first.

Inside the fortress of Solitude…

Batman: You knew?! But how could…
Superman: I suspect friend that we could both use some solitude, but I think too that it would be better if neither of us spent this night alone.
Batman: You’ll get no argument from this quarter Superman and since I’m hardly in the mood for the company of drafts and bats… Let’s go!

Tough guys shake hands.

Superman: We fit each other like hand and glove

The narrator lets us know they held hands for a ‘long time’.

Here is the aftermath from that night in the fortress.

Alfred: As you wish sir. I’m sorry Mr.Kent, Mr.Wayne, that is to say…
Superman: It’s okay Alfred. I understand.
