The Fab 5 freshmen from the University of Michigan Wolverines forever altered the landscape of college basketball without even winning a national championship. Their impact was that great.
Not only did this group impact the way we view college athletics as a commercial enterprise but the scandals that have arisen from the recruitment of these players still hangs over Michigan’s basketball program.
On Sunday March 13th, ESPN Films will premiere a documentary about these five teammates and the story about their time as Wolverines. The doc is definitely going to be personal and real because it is being exec produced by Jalen Rose, one of the members of the Fab 5. Make sure you tune into ESPN for this special presentation.

been waiting on this for a while now…
and, might i add, GO BLUE
They were also the first to get the Nike Huarache basketball sneaker. The white/royal/purple/black joints…
This doc should be good if Jalen Rose is behind it. He should have no problems securing interviews from the players and media personnel. I wonder if Michigan State staff will participate.
” I wonder if Michigan State staff will participate.” yeah in a all dark room with a voice masker hahahaha
They were also essential in bringing the baggy shorts era to B-Ball, thankfully.
