Kings From Queens…

The number 7 is representative of God and divine completion. The 7 train cuts a swath thru the heart of Queens. NYC’s 7 train logo is outlined with a purple circle. Purple is the color of kings. The 7 train’s logo posts the color of royalty in 360 degrees.

Gab Gotcha, Meyhem Lauren and Shaz IllYork pay homage to the purple 7.

    I don’t believe ’em but Culture “Two Sevens Clash”– both the song and the album– are great great records; I walk through Flatbush, Canarsie, New Lots and rarely hear anything like it, alas.

    Old Redbird Queens is dope too.
