How great are these pictures form the Middle East? Peep the little girls writing messages to the Lebanese children on the outsides of the artillery shells. It’s like friends and family day at the shelling station. It kind of reminds me of these types family day bus-outing photographs.

1. As far as I know France had no major part in the formation of the state of Israel unless you mean as a member of the United Nations which passed the resolution in 1947 to split Palestine into a Jewish state and an Arab state.
2. At the time of the establishment of Israel there were already many Jews living in Palestine. The Zionist movement was born out of anti-semitic France in the late 1800s and had included several waves of immigration to the region by the time the 1940s came around. According to Wikipedia at the end of WWII the number of Jews in Palestine was up to 600,000. This was due to the Zionist movement, not European interests. Most of the western powers could give two shits about the Jews as evidenced by what went down during the Holocaust.
Britain had its grubby paws all over Palestine during the first half of the 20th century. Around the end of WWI, England passed the Balfour Declaration which recognized the Zionist movement’s right to create a homeland in Palestine. Yet they went back on this during the rise of Nazism, instituting a policy that severely restricted immigration to Palestine at a time when the Jews really could have used it.

As I said there were already 600k Jews in Palestine by the time Israel was created. But for the record, the victims of the holocaust weren’t just Germans. Poland, where my parents are from (my dad born in 1936, my mom born while her parents had taken refuge in Russia in 1942), was the main target and lost 3 million jews in the holocaust (over 90% of its jewish population). By the way after World War II when my parents families returned from Russia to Poland, the place was still an incredibly fucked up place for a Jew to live. Now that the numbers shifted dramatically, Poles had learned to love the power rush of rampant anti-semitism.
According to Wikipedia “Greece, Yugoslavia, Hungary, Lithuania, Bohemia, the Netherlands, Slovakia, and Latvia each had over 70% of their Jewish population destroyed. Belgium, Romania, Luxembourg, Norway, and Estonia lost around half of their Jewish population, the Soviet Union over one third of its Jews, and even countries such as France and Italy had each seen around a quarter of their Jewish population killed.”
It wasn’t just Germany, Hitler had Europe on lockdown.

Are you’re saying that once interlopers over-run a block (or small section) in number, than that block become theirs. c) The reason people aren’t protesting for the prerogative of Native Americans to reclaim their land is because many of us realize the notion is particularly unrealistic, there is no current military action on, or on behalf, of Native Americans and because people are generally powerless pawns who don’t protest much unless there is some self-interest and leadership involved.

For a start to a peaceful solution, it’s time that instigator and interloper Israel admits that it is WRONG. Actually, it was the Assyrians that evicted the Hebrews from Israel ALMOST 3,000 YEARS AGO. And in the 30’s the jews were a small minority in Israel. Furthermore, there were TWICE as many muslims as jews in Palestine in 1938.
