A close second to the all time iconic cheese boot from Timberland would be the ‘Beef and Broccoli’ field boot. Those two profiles changed the landscape of footwear in America. At their core they both symbolize hard work. The field boot might be the all time favorite multi-purpose shoe for hiker, hunters, trekkers and even stylistic schleppers like myself.
The shoes were the perfect height to parlay into more rigorous lifestyle endeavors like bicycle riding and trail running since they gave you a range of flexible motion that the classic boots did not. Your feet were still supported in the field boot and weatherproofed for that matter.
I was super psyched to find that Timberland had revisioned the boots giving them more interior cushioning and an even more aggressive outsole for gripping and grabbing any terrain you might encounter. Even if Timberland changes the sole of a shoe they don’t replace the soul of the boot which means that you can still have fun in any kind of weather or condition.
Allow me to preview for you the #82197 Timberland Mountain Athletics Field Boot…
