Uh… “Like a homo”? Is that what passes for a ‘hot’ ‘punchline’ in April 2012?
I won’t make personal insults against this rapper, which seems real easy to do if you’ve just listened to “Enter The Wu-Tang (36 Chambers)” again, but maybe Mr. Bronson– and his listeners– should read some James Baldwin and reconsider what their respective definitions of ‘lyrical’ might be.
Listen to Lynyrd Skynyrd “Simple Man,” recorded 1973, for a much better written (by Ronnie Van Zant) and engineered take on the same titular concept.
