DP Dot Com Super Heroine Series: AEON FLUX

aeon flux

I don’t talk enough about the hardbody females from comic books, manga or the movies, even though characters like She- Hulk, or the voluptuous duo, the Dirty Pair has been giving my Mister Chucky the wooden soldier since before I knew what it all meant. My love for female superheroes has translated in my life to the types of women that I end up dating. I love a 6 foot wrassler broad. I want a chick that likes to grapple, and can handle it if I put her in the dope fiend headlock. I’ve done this with little women and all I have to show for it is a file at the 115th police precinct.

It’s not just a women’s size that I find sexy, but her sex appeal. Her walk and her smell. Woman sweat = superheroine sauce. My dream is to put my lady in a BatGirl costume and then give her my Batarang. Good. So I figured we could all take a look at some of the superheroines that I have rubbed off to because… What else do we have to do on a Sunday with the internets?!?

AEON FLUX orignally premiered on MTV’s cartoon bloc called Liquid Television. Viacom hadn’t developed the Adult Swim programming on Cartoon Network as yet, and they realized there was a post-teenage demographic for adult animation. Manga was making inroads in the United States as well. AEON FLUX isn’t manga though. It’s essentially highly stylized animation. People have confused the series with traditional manga because the character is an assassin and there are tons of deaths during each episode of the cartoon.

Here are the things I was able to establish from watching the O.G. television series… The main character is a killer, but I was unsure about her mission, and I was unsure how she could die every episode but be regenerated for the following ep. The cartoon was also the gheyest thing ever. Even gheyer than a man ass raping another man. I blame that on all the techno music they used. Only gheys like that shit. AEON FLUX wasn’t ghey I don’t think. Maybe she was bisexual. Who the fuck cares?!? She was a cartoon character.

The one thing that was undeniable was that AEON FLUX was a hardbody killer. She was steady bucking fools in the head and making their brains fly out onto the sidewalk. And she damn near ran around nekkid. She was like the R-rated version of Elektra mashed up with the ‘Dirty Pair’. When I saw that CHARLIZE THERON was cast as AEON FLUX for the feature film instead of ANGELINA JOLIE or that little sexy bum bum from Sex & The City (the brunette), I wasn’t too sure how much I’d like the movie, but in the end the movie was kind of slammin’.

CHARLIZE THERON didn’t wear the real sexy bondage apparel that AEON FLUX has on in the cartoon, but even though she was a prude she still manages to look extremely fuckable. I may have grabbed myself. I’m not saying that I released, but I may have grabbed it once or thrice. Thanks GOD the movie wasn’t as homo as the cartoons were. I’d be embarrassed to come out of the theatre of a real homo film no matter how good the writing or acting was. As it was the only folks that went to see this movie were all the kids taking a minute above ground from their parents’ basements. Myself included.

Here’s the dealio… LM donated some funds to the DP Dot Com movement and I bought a few AEON FLUX(the motion picture) DVD’s. If you haven’t seen this joint yet and you want to be part of the DP Dot Com snail mail list hit me up. I’ve got four (4) DVD’s to mail out so get in where you fit in.

I haven’t picked up that Aeon Flux flick. I do remember the cartoon on MTV. Great action scenes, the music was not my style. I did just pickup UltraViolet with Milla Jovovich. She is looking real sexy on the cover, I pray this movie does not suck. Anyway, I hope you do a drop on Wonder Woman. She was not a killer, but she was sexy. I think a movie is in the works for Wonder Woman with J. Lo. Peace.

i haven’t seen it either, and I remember watching that show pretty regularly on liquid television. I was pretty apprehensive about seeing the movie–so I didn’t bother seeing it (same with transformers and the simpsons)..

^ l am definitely doing a drop on Wonder Woman. Are you kidding me? Fighting bad guys in a pair of panties and a bustier, plus she was sick with the rope. Stay tuned to DP Dot over the next few weeks if you ever caught wood while reading a comic book (nullus, of course).

    BatGirl
    Wasp
    Aurora
    Sif
    Huntress

    Just to name a few…

Jai : Went with my old roommate and saw Ultra Violet for free. I wanted a refund on my gas money.

reading this has me thinking of other ladies, such as:

black canary (sonic scream + rolls with oliver queen)
moondragon and quasar (cosmic superpowered lesbian couple)
mantis (superb fighter and kang the conqueror’s squeeze)
    starfire (just because)
    fire and ice
    maxima
    catwoman

and another thought on the ladies: there is this website called “women in refrigerators” which documents all the ways heroines got fucked the fuck up in the books

^^^Ultraviolet was garb. I saw the last half of it with my friend at his place and made him leave his own house for playin that shit.

Never saw the movie. Saw parts of it though with her and some black chick running through some spiked grass. Did the same dude that made Aeon Flux make that Alexander cartoon? There was a lot of homo-erotic tendencies in that cartoon with the same type of animation.

dallas- aeon was a saboteur and secret agent. as far as i could gather, she was not as morally devoid as most would like to think, as she was constantly sabotaging trevor goodchild’s plans of “utopia”, a la east and west germany style. i dont think it was clear whether or not aeon was bregnan or monican, but i seem to remember her living on the bregnan side that trevor had just captured. the subtext seems to indicate that aeon is sabotaging trevor because of an allegiance to the former leader of bregna, clavius.

and she was fine as fuck.

I’ve been a big fan of Aeon Flux from the start. Have the original MTV series on DVD. Don’t have the flick with Charize. I saw it the first week at the theatre. Its decent.

Jai Slayer, Ultraviolet sucks butt. The Fifth Element is still Milla’s best movie.

  9. Eloheem says:

Aeon Flux is on my movie to see list which seems to be getting longer and longer. I though the MTV version was dope even though I couldn’t really understand the story line.

  10. dubble13 says:

If there is a loose copy hanging about, I’ll take it – since you are recommending. Charlize is a decent actress. I have always been a little wary of MTV’s Animation Dept, so I never watched the show.

Ultraviolet was “so-so” but I’ll watch anything with Milla. And now with Resident Evil part 4 coming out, oh boy! I am probably one of the few people who liked “The Fifth Element.”

    BTW: Thanks for the Punisher!

  11. coqui says:

I remember Aeon Flux, it was straight, but I was more into The Maxx, shit was a trip. I heard the guy who did the character designs for Aeon Flux (and Alexander) also did the character designs for The Rugrats. What the fuck?

    ^^^LMAO! GREAT POST

  13. P-Matik says:

Aeon Flux was best when it was on Liquid Television because it was silent and you had to think about it more. Some of them joints are/were on YouTube.

Liquid TV actually was some of the best shit eMpTV shit EVAR.

  14. Dart_Adams says:

The illest thing about Aeon Flux was that when it was just one offs on Liquid Television, she’d be merkin’ mad soldiers and doing the impossible but she’d die in the most improbable or random ways (like stepping on a nail). Then came the series that was supposed to follow and storyline and continue from where the previous episode left off, but for some reason the viewer wasn’t sure that was the case because weird shit would be jumpin’ off.

The movie was terrible, they butchered the Elektra character as well…at least she looked good as hell (Ben had to wait to for her marriage to fall apart to snatch that up). One.

    Too funny Dallas!!!!!

  16. Amadeo says:

You you gotta cover Storm, before Halle Berry ruined her she was a goddess. I loved one ep of Aeon Flux in particular. She died early and the perspective shifted to the person who killed her, then it shifted to the person who killed them and so on, dope concept.
