Both have more continuity than 99.63% of all the albums released today. They are the proof that concept albums can still work if the artist understands the overall concept.

Good move highlighting Best Kept Secret. They bring it just as hard as Wale did on these tracks. And those syncopated snare hits they do never get old.
Listen to the lyrics on ‘The Kramer’ – Wale handles the topic the way NAS wishes he had.
Listen to the beginning of that track during Kramer’s rant. Listen to the express laughter of the crowd. Kramer was getting the crowd whipped into a frenzy. In a minute they were gonna go hang some people from light poles and take pictures while pointing up.
Crazy.

I think Wale does a great job on shedding light on the current state of hip-hop through the A&R from skits on his mixtapes (aside from lyrically murdering everytrack he’s on.)

The A&R skit on 100 miles and running is a good one also about rappers running around with ‘lil’ or ‘young’ in front of their names.
