POLITRICKS 2008: Mr. Crazy Goes To Washington…

mcshame

JOHN McCAIN gets a whiff of his own horseshit.

The 2008 presidential campaign turns on a faux CAPRA-esque twist when JOHN McCAIN claims to have suspended his campaign to return to Washington to fix the economic crisis.

Does this mean he is putting up all of his homes and his fleet of automobiles to add to the welfare package that Wall Street is receiving? Ha. McCAIN’s machine might be short on moola methinks.

What the fuck is JOHN McCAIN going to do in Washington? This meatball isn’t on the banking, finance or ethics committees that are overseeing the corporate welfare package. He’s gonna have to watch this shit on C-Span like the rest of us. Those of us that are watching this shit. My ass is going back to the beach to get a tan. Anyone who remembers the Keating Five already remembers JOHN McCAIN from making our economy fucked the fuck up back in 1989’s savings and loan scandal. JOHN McCAIN is only into bankrupting economies.

More than likely it is because the handlers of the Republican ticket realize that their team will be eaten alive in the debates like fresh meat. So this tactic for stalling isn’t just designed to delay McCAIN’s debate, but really to delay SARAH PALIN’s time at the podium. Let’s face it, the Republican ticket as presented is about as piss poor on public policy as you could get in modern day politricks. One of the nominees can’t remember the date while the other is firmly confident that it is still 1808.

The OBAAMA campaign should carry on with the debate. Show up. Fuck it. Even though it’s in Mississippi the chances of BARACK being lynched publicly are actually pretty slim.

Yeah, I mean he’s suspending his campaign for how long? Will it take him a day or 2 to have this whole mess figured out? I mean we need solid leadership in Washington or at least the appearance of such……..Republicans love to use fear tactics and make things seem so dire that people have to just hand over that blank check. Repub effectiveness comes from them bargaining on American stupidity ie make things seem like the end of the world and then when it turns out not to be, throw the dummy(Bush) on the podium to non apologize…………………….

It’s been buzzing on the net for weeks that the elections may get postponed…….This looks like a step in that direction cuz Nov.4 is right around the corner.

When I got that text from CNN yesterday, I literally laughed out loud on the street. What the f*ck?

The Rethuglicans clearly do NOT want Yukon Barbie to debate Biden.

  3. nerditry says:

This isn’t fucking Russia. We aren’t pushing elections back.

McCain’s idea becomes worse as you put simple thought into it. He is out on the campaign trail where logistics are his biggest concern, not the day to day business of our country. President Bush, a man that we feel is globally incompetent, is able to handle his day to day which includes the banking crisis, war in Iraq, Korea restarting their nuclear program and a laundry list of brand new threats and issues.

McCain wants to put the brakes on all of it to get his hands dirty on what? He can’t contribute beyond the halls of the Senate and has indirectly admitted that he isn’t in a position to discuss it on tomorrow’s debate. If he were Executive, would he put everything on ice besides the one biggest issue of the day?

It’s just too much for him.

  4. DirtyJerz says:

Word is Bawn!, this pastey ass dude is going back to DC to hook up with his cronies and scheme up a plan to get that retarted hand of his on that 700 billion!

  5. infamous says:

    “Keating Five”
Finally, somebody said it. And to think that guy once was known for his unswerving integrity.

My prediction for November: McCain wins.
    Quote me on it.

  6. N.O.N. says:

Dig it–he should send Palin in his place to the debate, Obama can send Biden, and then we’ll all see who’s prepared to lead at the drop of a hat, right? If I was David Plouffe, I’d have suggested this asap.

  7. Jim Bourn says:

Obamma wants to keep his record clear. He hasn’t proposed any legislation since he was in the Senate, He has missed most of the votes and previous experience was in South Chicago working with the world renoun Chicago politics. He forgets he was elected and paid to attend to problems in Washington or perhaps he doesn’t feel this is a problem. Where will he run to if a war or will he sit on the side and point fingers and say how badly the other side is doing.Neither one of these gentlemen did anything with this mess evident to the rest of the world. Perhaps it is time to have a third party, both sides would then be shaking in the corner.

  8. the ambassador says:

    There’s always the McKinney/Clemente ticket.
Or if you’re of the right-minded…Bob Barr.
The other parties are out there but I’m really wondering why I hear ZERO about them, aside from the fact that Barr spoke at my school a little while ago.

  9. the ambassador says:

And perhaps McCain is a baseball fan and just wanted an excuse to go to DC and cheer on the GOAT baseball team ever – The Nats! While stuffing his face with an overpriced half smoke.

    HAHAHA.
will the Nats ever NOT suck?

  10. Vee says:

The McCain campaign is desparate, or their actions are desparate. I don’t think Sarah Palin is prepared for any national debate so the VP debates will be very, very entertaining.

^Bourn, there are third parties out there. Personally I think most folks don’t do their homework or simply believe in the futility of a 3rd party against the strength and financial resources of the Democrats and Republicans. The dialogue is not there. Surprisingly it is interesting that many women rally behind Clinton and now Palin but I don’t hear a peep about the McKinney/Clemente combination. I think for most folks it is too easy to resign their vote for either major just because.

Hey, in 1988, Jesse “the Body” Ventura became the Governor of Minnesota spending less money than his Republican and Democrat opponents with a decent slogan “Don’t Vote For Politics As Usual”

  11. Spamantic says:

McCain and the Dem Grand Ol Boys are suffering from a information void during the paradigm shift of this 700B.

He’d be a fool to blindly walk into a debate on FRI and making statements to record on the economy,
then on MON the budget is finalized and he looks like he’s even more out of touch.

Obama is already playing possum on issues, why mark yourself when noone really knows which way is up?

  12. Amadeo says:

/\ He did that on Monday didn’t he?

  13. Can someone please explain to me how a nation that’s already a trillion or so in debt shell out another 700 billion in an attempt to save its own ass?

Dubya must have watched “Checkmate”. Shit, if America dies tomorrow, we must have REALLY won!
    ……….

  14. Ayre says:

@ ambassador Manny Acta said when will your mother not suck.

  15. Gee Star! says:

Its imperative that the Republicans stall the debate. My supporting arguments have been stated.

“More than likely it is because the handlers of the Republican ticket realize that their team will be eaten alive in the debates like fresh meat. So this tactic for stalling isn’t just designed to delay McCAIN’s debate, but really to delay SARAH PALIN’s time at the podium. Let’s face it, the Republican ticket as presented is about as piss poor on public policy as you could get in modern day politricks. One of the nominees can’t remember the date while the other is firmly confident that it is still 1808.”

Once again we see eye to eye, Dallas.

  16. Incilin says:

Pardon my ignorance, but how the fuck didn’t I know about the Keaton Five until I read it on DallasPenn?!? I’m not knocking this site, it’s just that how the fuck did Obama not even mention this once before? Or anyone else in America? And while we’re on the topic, why isn’t Hiliary out there telling women that she and Palin are light year apart and they shoulnd’t vote for her? Why aren’t people bringing up Palin’s stance on abortion more? Why am I so afraid that we’re all going to get screwed again come November? Ugh.

  17. Mo says:

I would vote for McCain, if I could.

  18. the_dallas says:

    Incilin,
The same reason that most people don’t know about the Keating 5 is also why most folks don’t know or remember about Neil Bush and the Silverado savings & loan company.

Def do the knowledge and understand that banking shenanigans is what the Busche clan does best since the days of the Great Depression.
