And Then There Were None…

kennedys

America’s de facto prince has bid us goodnight and farewell.

For the most part white smartened up after watching the other KENNEDY’s get cut down like grass. TED KENNEDY also realized it didn’t make any sense to go rocking the boat any further.

Generations were spent institutionalizing the system of haves and have nots, while millions of billions of dollars were being allocated to make the neighborhoods that colored people lived in open-air drug markets.

I can thank RONALD RAYGUN, GEORGE BUSH Sr. and CHARLES RANGEL for that.

I do respect the KENNEDY legacy though because they were merc’ked for going off the script.

  1. Speaking of Rangel– good for the occasional reinstitute-the-draft (as anti-war catalyst) soundbite and nothing else if you’re not on his payroll– let’s not forget Brooklyn’s own Edolphus “Fucking Ed” Towns, whose worth is right here in his job description–

Edolphus ’Ed‘ Towns of Brooklyn, New York is a 14-term veteran in the U.S. House of Representatives, where he serves as Chairman of the Committee on Oversight and Government Reform, the main investigative committee in the U.S. House of Representatives. As committee chair, Rep. Towns has jurisdiction to investigate any federal program and any matter with federal policy implications, such as: federal procurement, federal agency management, civil service and information policy.

Yeah, things are fucking GREAT, Ed, keep up the tremendous work.

As for “dynasties,” here’s a little doozy in the making–

“He and his son, Darryl, a New York State Assemblyman, are the first African-American father-son team to serve simultaneously in New York public office.”

  2. Add Congressman Edolphus Towns to the growing list of influential Democratic and Republican VIP’s who received loans from Countrywide Financial. That’s significant because Towns, a Democrat, heads the committee investigating the mortgage giant’s practices. And he personally is blocking the effort to subpoena Countrywide documents, reports CBS News correspondent Sharyl Attkisson.

  3. Come on Ed, speak the fuck up– since when is BK quiet?

DP, this is why I don’t twitter, it’d be like ToureX or Peter Rosenberg wars all the time and I got too much else to do besides ethering scumbags, no matter how righteous a pleasure that is.

Can’t say I’m a fan of Kevin Powell’s writing but he was on the side of the angels– NOT Rangles– when he ran for this seat.

Indicating an extensive cover-up effort, the chairman of the U.S. House’s main investigative committee has blocked subpoenas to obtain records of a special mortgage program for the politically connected because he too benefited from it.

As chairman of the powerful Committee on Oversight and Government Reform, New York Democrat Edolphus Towns is supposed to investigate federal wrongdoing not cover it up. This is why it seems suspicious that the 26-year congressional veteran has ardently rebuffed efforts to obtain records involving a controversial program that offered heavily discounted loans to politically influential figures like him.

The secret low-mortgage rate deals were part of a VIP program available only to powerful friends of the now-defunct bank’s (Countrywide Financial Corp.) crooked Chief Executive Officer, Angelo Mozilo, a key player in the nation’s subprime-mortgage meltdown who has been charged with fraud and insider trading.

  6. El Gringo Colombiano says:

btw, Russ Feingold >>> Ted Kennedy. The media’s dickriding of Ted Kennedy is a little absurd.

  7. b'rer rabbit says:

Props Gringo– Russ Feingold was the ** ONLY ** Senator to vote against the so-called “Patriot Act”. Historically, of the three Ks, Bobby was the most interesting, with Jack the most fun (endless fucking and Dr. Feelgood shots).

Ted was an also ran in every way– and sure, maybe not the worst elected Democrat but hardly the best and FUCK DEMOCRATS anyway. The moral and intellectual bankruptcy of America is right there in the two-party system, w/ successful third-party candidates cut from history.

Ernie, do you remember Benjamin Davis, and what happened to him?

Oh yeah, before I forget, props to WSS: motherfuck Edolphus Towns– real talk!
