Also, a HUGE question: Does not liking Barry Bonds make me a racist? (Any more than all of my other prejudices)
Do I HAVE TO cite how much I admire Hank Aaron when I slam Bonds because that also feels a bit forced as well and really talking about apples and oranges. Just a thought about one of the most unlikeable, aloof dudes in baseball. Hell, if he was outright mean it would be an improvement but whether he may or may not have taken steroids is immaterial . . . I just wish he would have had a personality transplant in either case.
Also, it’s impossible not to see the racial element in all of this and just for good measure I think it would be gully to point out that Babe Ruth was probably part Black:

All the asterisk people are racist because no one places an asterisk next to Babe Ruth’s name for playing in a league that barred Blacks from participation. Ruth could have been ‘passing’ which is extra sweet irony that the top four home run sluggers were all brothers.
I remember when Barry Bonds wasn’t the Hulk. But I also remember Mark McGuire slimming down mysteriously when sh*t was getting hot. Then the dude straight retired..which was smart for the most part.
