An interesting thought occurred to me…
I’m about to take over the lead in the BILLY X SUNDAY football pool. The kids that read my shit at XXL are starting to choke up as the season winds down. However, I am far from the lead in the DALLAS PENN football pool. The seasoned veterans are still in the hunt and still very serious about winning these sneakers.
What makes the adults so much more into free sneakers than the kids? I think that might be the ultimate folly of youth. The notion that something free isn’t worth winning. Us old heads realize that free shit is the best shit. I would take anything for free. Even a pile of actual shit. I’m hoping that no one puts this statement to the test because this is schwag bag season here in NYC.
I also wonder if someone from Las Vegas is going to have the refs from the Pittsburgh game tied up and sequestered for the rest of the season. When a cadre of referees comes together and still can’t make the correct call I wonder what they are thinking. I really could have used that point from the Pittsburgh game. There are five weeks left for me to take over the pool. I’m looking for a 13+ point picks week.
