POLITRICKS 2008: Start Snitching…

jjjr

The damage control continues for JESSE JACKSON Jr. as his spokesman tells the press that JACKSON has been giving information to Federal investigators for many years.

This my friends is the definition of a snitch.

Snitches protect their unscrupulous interests as well as covering their asses.

I am not calling JESSE JACKSON Jr. a snitch because I think he did something illegal and he is looking to cover up his criminality, I am calling him a snitch because he plays the game of politricks just like everyone else does. This dude has been in office for more than a dozen years. You don’t keep a political machine running for that long without greasing the wheels from time to time.

The ROD BLAGOJEVICH scandal is politically problematic because it describes the corruption that occurs within the most private corridors of power. This has nothing to do with people that aren’t associated with the plurality as public servants. There are no bankers, no stock brokers, no captains of corporations and no prositutes. This whole shit was all politicians.

Playing politricks.

I try not to hate the players though just because the game is all fucked the fuck up.

    Think about this:
3 Governors in like 3 years
1 for homo placement (gave his boy toy a cushy job)
1 for lying about buying hookers (she is a fox fo real)
1 for bribery and general fuckery
Real question is who is next?
Jesses 1 & 2 both get the Bozack-keep hope alive oh yeah bitches. Ernie

You know its times like these when I really think well run “Illegal” Criminal Organizations get a bad rap…

Seriously, people have a legitimate beef on how these organizations have destroyed neighborhoods and families but alas I ask, have not alot of these elected fools and their organizations done the same under the guise of community stewardship? Have not these billionaire bilkers done as much damage from their Wall Street offices as the most nefarious kingpin? All I ask is when they gonna ship them off the Florence ADX for their life bid.

  3. imho the US needs to reform the sentencing such that extreme corporate criminals get minimum 20+ yrs in the most hardcore “get pounded in the a” prison.

At some point, ripping off X people is as bad or worse as murdering 1 person. Maybe X is 100. So these Enron, Worldcomm, Goldman Sachs, Martha Stewart CXOs/thiefs focked up their companies need to be imprisoned. Ditto for politirickians like Blago.

These thiefs would then think, “gee my 200K or 1.3M or whatever salary along with freedom & a non-violated anus, is a good deal, not worth the risk of corporate/politrickian crime”

  4. I’m with you here, Ernie.

40, check out a book by Gus Russo called “Supermob,” about the legendary Hollywood and mob fixer, Sidney Korshak.

You read it and think man… what’s the big deal? VERY impressive career mind you but he’s some kind of man of honor compared to the big biz and political worlds of today.

  5. 40 says:

EGC you’re absolutely right, when you consider the disparity of sentencing of robbing a person for $50 on Main Street and robbing people for $50 million (or billion) your theoretical formula makes sense as well as the implied ramifications to the potential transgressor. However these people in power, is also the same mind state that felt the need to create a chasm of punishment for the same basic damn product – cocaine (hard or soft, whipped or unwhipped). The same mentality applies to these “Levels of Theft” because it’s based on the notion of what is perceived as a “criminal”.

The fact of the matter is this – the kingpin, the elected official, the gang leader and the CEO are the entire same ilk. They are successful at rallying people to buy into their goal and manage them effectively to achieve both raw and fiscal power. Alas someone will interject here “Well the head of WorldCom didn’t destroy lives like (kingpin/gangleader) so the same punishment doesn’t apply” and I have to ask “Really?” Is there really a huge difference between creating indigence and poverty by ravaging an area with drugs, and creating indigence and poverty through swindling people through corporate malarkey? Only by comparison and perception of what is truly offensive to the quality of one’s life.

If I bust my ass everyday as a square and provide for me and mine what is more inherently dangerous? Keeping my kid out the gangs and drugs, or keeping my house and my pension. I’d like to think I could hopefully guide my children through the pitfalls off crime and violence, and one of the big reasons for that are you have a greater understanding of the causal relationships between the pleasure and pain of this world and can provide another concrete example of “Why this is wrong”. However that causal relationship gets skewed when your kid (or even yourself) wonders about someone they know getting 15 years for robbery, when your whole pension has been swindled out from under you and others with nothing more than a stern talking to? You would be foolish to think this would not completely up end one’s definition of “Criminality”.

This is not just for corrupt CEO’s but for also for these politicians (who seem to a least do more time than a CEO/banker/et al), who are running ram shod in a repercussionless world. Hell maybe Jesse did the right thing by being a snitch. Hopefully the needle leans slightly to the cause of trying to “fight corruption” rather than being a brokenhearted Nicky Barnes type. But alas we shall see. In the funny irony department, I didn’t think it was gonna be this soon that Barry O was gonna get caught up in some “good ol’ n*gga shit”…

@ Music Director… Thanks. I’ll add that to my Amazon.com list.

  7. Vee says:

    40, on your first point:
I think the politicians and Tycoons have done far worse than major crime organizations because they tend to destabilize or financially ruin communities while organized crime actually help create jobs. Most organized criminal activities operate understanding that you really do not want to completely piss off the community where you do your dirt.

  8. As an example, yeah Corporate Thiefs like Worldcomm Bernie Ebbers are the same or worse as murdering 1 person.

Many employees (thousands?) lost their 401k tied up in Worldcomm stock. Keep in mind many companies in Corporate America age discriminate, even at age 40, so many of these workers may have never gotten a comparable job again.

Off hand, I would be surprised if at least 2 Worldcomm persons murk’d themselves or someone else. Those >=2 people alone is equal to murdering 1 person.

Then afterwards, indirectly some people will lose years of their life, let’s say at least 100? If they lost health insurance, they may have die early. Over 50% of bankruptcies are due to health bills. Even those with health insurance often get focked over & can’t afford to fight the health insurer’s big lawyers.

  9. Ernest Paniccioli says:

To VEE and 40. Your points are deadly accurate and hopefully as more folks get assed out and food becomes a luxury item the perception of all manner of exploiters, both in the drug and corporate world are deemed to be equally disruptive, destructive and harmful the punishment will become equally severe.
Tried to wrap my head around the latest scandal and cannot fathom what 50 Billion dollars is or what it could do to rebuild schools and hospitals in this country.
If a man steals $300.00 and gets three years what punishment would be correct for a man who steals 50 Billion? Ernie
