Everybody is making all kinds of noise about the new season for HBO’s ‘The Wire’ series so I won’t even talk about the show other than to say it’s almost as real as these pictures.
These flicks are from one of the great events that took place this past summer – a ‘hood wedding. These events happen all across America, but rarely do you have the array of photographs that show the love that that these two people bring to film (or digital memory cards). Everything is included from ex-convict uncles to a plethora of illegimate children and even an appearance by the Queen Bee herself, LIL’ KIM.

i’m just not sure how i feel about her tiara, the fact that those kids look old enough to get jobs of their won, or that sparkle ass tube top. but then again this gives me hope, there is clearly a lid for every jar.

Hey, my cousin and her convict husband got married in the court house. We went right through the weapon scanners….They marched us in right down the isle of “open court”…the judge paused for a sec…then they led us to the back room. The nuptuals were beautiful…yeah, we got pics…just lovely…. 🙂

I’m mad at her tiara. I’m mad at the sequin tube top (Disco circa 1977). I’m mad that she’s missing a tooth (or at least it looks like it). I’m mad at her homie in the orange tank top lookin like P.Diddy’s mama on a GOOD DAY. And I’m not feelin the wifebeaters and button downs.
