This is the same Dr. WATSON that was quoted as saying that Africans evolved at a slower rate than that of Europeans. I agreed with Dr. WATSON when he originally made these remarks. What was obvious to me is that there was a point in history when humans in different regions began to develop different and sometimes drastic techniques and adaptations for survival. Those are the times when the human must evolve. When your surroundings change rapidly and with such a great intensity the only options you have are to swim or drown.
While the humans that lived in Africa were surrounded by a wealth of resources to draw upon the humans that had ventured to the northern reaches of the hemisphere found the opposite. A dearth of resources, particularly nutritional and especially in the winter led these people to commit unspeakable acts in order to survive. A brutal winter would mean that the weakest of the clan would become the meal plan. This is the most hardbody shit evar, but the flesh of a relative, say a child, was the nutritional motivation to carry the cave clan into the spring.
Dr. WATSON recognizes that nutrition and environment play a significant role in a person’s genetic disposition. It is fucked the fuck up that cannibalism has created a smarter, harder class of human beings, but that is not for us to judge or lament. The real question is whether this knowledge will spark a revival in the practise?

Dr. Watson’s perception of Africa is that it can be saved if we “educate them.” What are we supposed to be teaching?

I’m about embark on this read during my lunch break but I’d like to say before I do, I think its a pretty foolish notion to think that all though we’re of the same species that somehow we’re all supposed to be “even” in the race of life (no pun intended). The true spill is that those who write the page often determine their own supremacy when categorizing these things.

I saw Gates in a documentary in Africa tracing his roots. When he saw a white Episcopal Bishop he got down on his knees and kissed his hand. I threw a sneaker at the TV. read the interview last week. great interview, great post. not conceding the intelligence issue, but i do imagine, and going back to the teachings of clarence x 13, when yacub’s back was against the door, it’s not hard to imagine his immensely huge head concocting some diabolically genius ideas to take over the globe for the sake of he and his people’s survival. at the risk of sounding racist, i see this type of diabolical genius at play almost every day when watching how white move. one word for example “gentrification”.
I agree with the education reform in Africa sans the history and religion laced with white supremacy.
If you want to change my name to Uncle Thomas Ruckus the 3rd than so be it, but I really don’t see the fault of Dr. Watson. Why I do see is Negroes being influenced by this manipulated sense of outrage that really just supports the supremacy angle. What is happening here IMO is that no one is calling the Negroe “dumb”, however the masters of tricknowledgy that holds the pen and the paper are making their case of their superiority. Lets not act like this is anything new for this has been the modus operandi of hornswaggling for the better part of the last millennium.
But what is interesting is the way that somehow physical prowess is somehow a “less than” trait. Whats said in even believing that is you are manifesting the beliefs of supremacy where a physically inferior group has historically cowered and crippled a group with out flexing a physical muscle. Anyone who tells you that what your body can do is a distant second to what the mind can do is suppressing your physicals and mentals. So instead of Skip scoffing at the notion of the lack of physical acumen as some sort of theory buster, then maybe he should have taken to show he would have had a slim chance to survive in the basis of his ethnic gene pool.
So I’ll sum it up by making change out of the five-dollar words, there is, and always will be “genetic superiority/inferiority” amongst the divergent species of man, to think anything else is folly. Also with the relative impurity of the American Negroe as well as most people in a diverse society/civilization, no one can base their issues on these very simple, general genetic ethnographs. Please take note more on how these studies are used to empower/disenfranchise these “groups”, and who determines the “group” anyway? The same people who are using these determined “positives” to their advantage.
Finally, even if they cracked the genome code per se, I ask which traits would be encouraged and fostered? If you asked me the darkies of the world would be falling over the deemed genetic intellectual superiority of the European that Dr. Watson so bigged up. It would be like bleaching cream, and no-lye relaxer for the brain.
I’m riding with 40 on this. Y’all are some really intelligent dudes. BTW, anyone read “Guns, Germs, & Steel” here? That book is this topic in a nutshell.

To expound on this, the book I mentioned above proves a point that just because one group becomes technologically advanced doesn’t mean they are any more fit to survive than a group of hunter-gatherers. You put some some latte-sipping prep for San Francisco out in the Indonesian jungles and he ain’t got a chance.
I mean for real, the US has spent BILLIONS on military and advanced weaponry (missiles that can almost find your azz underground somewhere) and we still got served in Iraq by a ragtag pseudo-enemy with no real organization. In the end, it’s about how well you know you own environment.
