MORE PAIN AT THE PUMP…

blenciaga

The Wall Street Journal is forecasting doom and gloom in the world of women’s footwear.

I think its fascinating exactly how many consumer goods we import from China and what price we end up paying on our end. We know that the Chinese worker typically lives in abject poverty yet we still spend a kings’ ransom on the products they make. Where is all of the money going? It appears to me that U.S. corporate executives are disgustingly overcompensated.

This news should portend to higher prices for all of us sneaker fiends as well. This is going to require some drastic action on behalf of the Sneaker Fiends Unite! movement. Next weekend will be the first monthly NYC tour promoted by Sneaker Fiends Unite! Stay tuned for details…

  1. Ain’t that the truth. I about choked on my boba when I saw a pair of pumps that caught my eye in a store where I can normally cop a fly pair for under $100.

    Price tag?
    $295.
    Ouch.

They’ve since gone on sale but they’re definitely still about $150.

I’ve noticed it and truth of the matter is i’m not a quick to drop a couple of bills on shoes that are just cute.

if they don’t also serve a purpose and are comfortable they can keep their cute asses right in the window.

by the way…I’m all up in NYC next weekend what it do with the sneaker tour?

    Holla!

  4. Hopefully, I’ll be able to link up for the June edition of Sneaker Fiends Unite. Currently broker than broke…like not being able to find a job and selling ALL my star wars figures for cheap. Happy hunting, fellow DP.comers.
