Sean Cornelius, King Of The Apes…

P!

Sean P is fearless when expressing the 7:30 aspect of the rap game. He is the man on a wire, deftly balancing himself on a tightrope suspended between the Twin Towers.

This track was something he had on the harddrive, but he didn’t have a project to attach it to hardbody. I asked P if I could get it just to fux with it. There’s enough space on the back end of this track for two or three emcees to go in, but who could match the maniacal flow of Sean Price? What rapper has the moxy and skills to talk about hallucinogens?

If you know that rapper pass them this .mp3

    Holy FUCK!!!
I will be listening to the Gil Scott-Heron song that birthed this on the way to the plantation tomorrow.
The song is like 17 minutes on the live album, so it will get me most of the way through the trip.
I must be getting old too, because I knew every word of that piece from New Jack as he was saying it as well.

    A fine track.

College radio was rockin Heltah Skeltah couple three days ago. It’s like when your song comes on in the club when a radio station plays real deal music.

A Sean Price + Ghostface track is very necessary.

  9. Co-sign Enigmatik; I’ll say P! + an on-form U-God (as on most of “Dopium”) would be great too.

The closest thing we have so far is “Radiant Jewels” from Wu Tang “Chamber Music”, where the 3 train cleans up–

@ Phlip, the ** new ** Gil Scott-Heron album is pretty great

@ $yk, saw you got tix in another thread, let us know how it is? I hear Gil’s got great and less-great nights but hopefully the rush of love he’s getting now will keep him up.
