Will Work 4 Snuggie…

Yep, it’s definitely time to let the banks rot in hell when they are secretly importing overseas workers to replace U.S. workers as a cheaper labor source.

The banks are trying to get that work for cheap!! “Foreigners are attractive hires because companies have found ways to pay them less than American workers.” The banks are off the chain. The CEO’s of these companies need the jailhouse, not the bailout.

Yup, the H1-B Visa program, as currently implemented and adminstered is a backdoor to cheap(er) labor, an avenue to wage deflation, and discourages the young from persuing careers in the affected industries – all stemming from capital’s dubious claim, a claim which helped drive Government to put together the guest worker program, that they can’t compete without finding *qualified* individuals.

With the help of lobbyists, o.c.

    Bogus.

I work in software development; everytime I hear these business leaders speak of this supposed shortage of *good* workers, I cringe and think of the number of good/great US developers I personally know that are either out of work, or were out of work for extended periods. I was one of them in 2001. (Laid off from one of the world’s largest corporations, which, IIRC, was led by a man who was lionized for – ahem – cost cutting. Everytime I see his ass on CNBC, I have to restrain myself from yelling “You helped create this, a-hole!”).

Good news: People are in no mood for this shit, so perhaps reform might be in our future.

O.T.T.: Sorry to get all serious, but I just wanted to get this out there.
