break fast

Candidate for best picture ever.

This pic is like food p0rn.

Unfortunately, for one unlucky bad boy this was his last meal.

I recall eating in the Chelsea Diner on West 23rd Street one morning after leaving the Tunnel disco. The place was ram-packed and thugged the fuck out. Some dude and a chick started beefing with each other until dude smacked her in the face with glass.

In the ensuing melee I bolted the joint with my crew to skip out on the tab as did several other people. One of the cats juking the tab ran into the street without looking and was hit by an ambulance. He hopped up after a few seconds and kept running.

This was pretty much a typical night after you left the Tunnel. Shenanigans were gonna pop off somewhere soon because mofos were irresponsibly intoxicated. If I had been at the diner on West 14th Street where sonn got his wig peeled you can believe I would have been the one maniac looking to eat someone’s untouched cheeseburger.

I know that CMJ is taking over most of downtown NYC, but with the greatest comic book illustrator of all time in SoHo tonight I have my plans set.

Neal Adams run on Batman is some of the greatest superhero artwork ever. The Bat is a fluid, sinewy nightstalker. He makes the Bat seem real and you can see the pain Bruce Wayne has carried with him since childhood.

Neal Adams will be featuring some of his recent Batman project for this NYC visit.

kito uni setup

The fall is the most classic season of all. Come back to school with me. The old school. A little sweater and a little jacket and you are straight chillin’. BTW, make sure your chapaeu is the winners.

The colorblock Polo Ralph Lauren jacket is murderous material.

I have been hooked ever since 1986.

Rest In Piece: DONDI…

dondi

Graffiti moved from simply ‘getting up’ into a legitimate form of artistic expression thanks to people like DONALD WHITE pka DONDI.

His top to bottom burners were all-city subway canvasses I used to watch at Chambers Street on the J/M/Z platforms.

WHITE was more than just all-city. He took graff all over the globe. Piece to the colorful universe he created.
